The difference between hearing bass and feeling thunder starts the moment you add this wireless bass module to the SoundTouch 300 soundbar. QuietPort™ technology and a highly advanced DSP virtually eliminates distortion and delivers surprisingly deep and clean sound from something so small.

I have been humbled – and now must eat my own words. I previously wrote a very positive review for the Bose Soundtouch 300 Soundbar, and included the following words, “You can add an optional wireless bass module and wireless surround speakers to achieve a full 5.1 home theater experience. Having said that, I am more than satisfied with all aspects of the sound without the optional components.” True – the Bose Soundtouch 300 soundbar is an exceptional product and delivers excellent sound without the optional components. And, I honestly believe it's the best soundbar available. However, now that I have added the optional Bose Acoustimass 300 Wireless Bass Module, I must change my tune. I can no longer say, “I am more than satisfied with all aspects of the sound without the optional components.” Now that I have added the Acoustimass 300 Wireless Bass Module, my listening experience has become so much more enriched that I cannot imagine being satisfied with just the SoundTouch 300 Soundbar. And, let me tell you why...
The Acoustimass 300 Bass Module is unlike your typical bass subwoofer. You don't just hear the sound, you feel the sound. The sound feels like it's coming at you from all directions vs. just a single fixed point. This is due to the “quietport” technology used by Bose in the bass module (“quietport” technology is also used in the soundbar for similar sound delivery).
In addition, your typical subwoofer is usually designed to optimize sound for either movies or music. I won't go into the technical and physical properties of the two typical subwoofer types. But, I will go straight to the bottom-line: the Acoustimass 300 Bass Module performs excellently with both movies and music. The end-result is a bass module which adds a whole other dimension to your listening experience. When playing movies or watching TV, regardless if I was watching an action movie, football game, or other, the Acoustimass 300 made movie sound effects feel as though they were happening in my living room, and made me feel I was on the football field as one football player tackled another football player. And, for music, the bass module provides a solid, bottom-end of deep bass sound – regardless of the type of music. I listened to everything from acoustic guitar instrumental to pop/rock to jazz to classical to EDM (electronic dance music) to see if the Acoustimass 300 performed as expected – and it did in every scenario.

Obviously, the sound of the Acoustimass 300 Bass Module is what I was most concerned with. But, I would like to mention that this product is built well and looks great. You can place it anywhere you wish to put it in your room. And connecting it to the SoundTouch 300 soundbar is a breeze – simply plug it into an electrical outlet, turn it on, use the remote provided with the SoundTouch 300 to pair it to the soundbar, and used the ADAPTIQ headset (provided with the soundbar) to perform audio calibration. All done in less than five minutes.
The bottom-line: The Bose Acoustimass 300 Bass Module is an excellent addition to the Bose SoundTouch 300 Soundbar. I highly recommend the purchase of both products. As I found out, the listening experience becomes so enriched and full when both products are in use together.

I have been building my dream home theater system and that is the primary reason I wanted to experience the BOSE SoundTouch 300 soundbar. I recently purchased a new 55” smart television and was now looking to begin adding additional items to continue building my dream home theater system. I have been using various Bose products for approximately 35 years – so I felt that if it was from Bose it would meet all my expectations – and it did.
However, I researched various soundbars in order to reach an informed-decision of which soundbar I felt would best fit my personal requirements and lifestyle - both current and future. The Bose SoundTouch 300 is jam-packed with just about every current feature and technology a person could possibly desire – plus designed to grow with you on into the future. It is not lacking in any way – and the sound is unparalleled.
The Bose SoundTouch 300 is physically-thin and slim in design, but the sound is anything but thin. It is a beautiful product with its glass top and perforated metal grille. You can add an optional wireless bass module and wireless surround speakers to achieve a full 5.1 home theater experience. Having said that, I am more than satisfied with the all aspects of the sound without the optional components. But, I can't wait to hear the entire Bose SoundTouch 300 system as I am able to add the additional modules!
I was a bit concerned when I looked at the first page of the quick-start guide and saw that it said to place the soundbar at least 1-3 feet away from other wireless equipment. That was a concern for me because my new 55” smart television is connected via Wi-Fi to my Internet router. However, I experienced no problems upon placement of the soundbar a mere six inches away from my television.
I am very satisfied with the features of the Bose SoundTouch 300 soundbar. It is built with every imaginable feature and technology a person could want, plus includes a universal remote that makes switching between various sources a breeze. I love that the soundbar includes both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, plus offers HDMI inputs/outputs. I really love how easy it is to calibrate the soundbar to your room – you simply put on the ADAPTiQ headphones and the soundbar speaks to you as it fine-tunes the system's sound to your room. One moment I might be using the soundbar for my television and the next moment I'm using the soundbar to listen to streaming music. All done easily with the touch of a button with the included remote. Something I really love about Bose is that they make sophisticated products, but you don't have to be a professional to use their products. My only complaint is minor in nature – included in the box is a quick-start guide that I do not feel is adequate for setup of an elaborate, highly-sophisticated home theater system. However, using the online user manual, setup then becomes quick and easy.
I am the type of person who, at any given moment 24/7, simultaneously has multiple sources of video and multiple sources of audio going on. I really love the Bose SoundTouch 300 soundbar because with the touch of a button on the included universal remote, I can quickly and easily switch the sound being played through the soundbar from one source to another.
The Bose SoundTouch 300 soundbar is an exceptional product. It was 10 years in the making – and definitely worth the wait!

Create perfectly blended smoothies every time with the Braun PureMix jug blender. I highly recommend the Braun PureMix Jug Blender. It appeared to be a great blender by viewing the photos and reading the words on the box – but honestly, this blender has been exceeding my expectations.
I had been using a standard household blender which worked fine for some things and not so fine for others. And, I just never put ice into my old blender because such a task has always been too tall an order for any blender I have ever owned.
Assembly of the Braun PureMix Jug Blender is extremely easy – disassembly and washing are equally simple. And, upon having an “oops” moment by dropping the pitcher on the floor, I discovered that this blender is also quite durable!
The Braun PureMix Jug Blender performs exceptionally-well in all situations – regardless of what has been put into the pitcher.
I am most-impressed with how well it takes ice cubes and blends them down into crushed ice. The crushed ice comes out smooth – just like snow cone or frozen margarita ice – and, the Braun PureMix Jug Blender is powerful enough to get the task done in a matter of seconds.
I personally enjoy making a lot of ice cream/fruit/nut based drinks. My concoctions have all come out great regardless of what I put into the pitcher and regardless if I was seeking to make a drink that had consistency of juice, milk shake, smoothie, or frozen margarita.
Basically, if you can imagine it the Braun PureMix Jug Blender can make it.
I have included photos showing: (a) an orange juice/vanilla ice cream based drink – one made to be like a shake/smoothie, one made to be like a frozen-ice shake/smoothie, and (b) a kiwi/banana/almond/vanilla ice cream based drink, made to be like a shake/smoothie.

The Logi Circle has been put at my disposal by the Review Club for testing purposes without any obligation but to provide my opinion on this product.
I decided to use the Logi Circle to monitor and capture any outdoor activity occurring within the Logi Circle's viewable range when the device was placed in a window overlooking my frontal porch area.
Initial setup was quick and easy – only taking minutes from the time I opened the box until the time the Logi Circle was in operational status with my home Wi-Fi router and smartphone. I fine-tuned the placement of the Logi Circle then left it alone to do its work.
I was curious to view the Logi Circle's live presentation on my smartphone. I was impressed with the wide range-of-sight captured by the Logi Circle. I was able to view my entire front door/front porch area, driveway, front yard, plus areas beyond my household property – with no visual distortion at all.
I found the the Logi Circle to be really good at capturing actual movement of animate objects (such as individuals, automobiles...) while ignoring non-event items such as tree limbs being blown by the wind and similar.
The Logi Circle has built-in night vision capabilities to allow it to capture and record motion detected in darkness. In my application of the product, the built-in night vision function was actually a hindrance to viewing at night. I determined the root cause of this to be the several layers of glass in my storm window. I decided to test the camera's ability to function at nighttime with the night vision disabled – problem solved – the Logi Circle worked just fine without night vision enabled.
The Logi Circle captures and records each incidence of detected motion. Each incidence can be viewed at the user's convenience by viewing each incidence one-by-one on your smartphone. Or, alternatively, there is a “Day Briefs” icon that can be touched to replay the previous 24-hr period's incidents of detected motion in a 30-second recap. Each type of playback (individual events and “Day Briefs”) can be saved to your smartphone.
There was a day when I had to travel out-of-town but was expecting UPS delivery. Although many miles away, I was able to pull out my smartphone and verify exactly when the UPS driver made delivery. This enabled me to then make a phone call to a neighbor to pick up and hold for me the delivered-package until I returned home the next day.
Overall, I was pleased with the Logi Circle as it sufficiently-handled the applications I was seeking to use it for. There are many other potential applications of the Logi Circle beyond what I used and tested it for – it would just take time to test the product in various other environments and applications, and to measure and analyze performance in those other environments and applications. But for my primary intent of usage, the Logi Circle was satisfactory and I would recommend to others to purchase.
