Samsung Galaxy Tab E: Easily browse the Web and stay entertained with this tablet, which features a 9.6" display that's large enough to watch movies and TV shows and small enough to take on the go. Plus, you can record videos and snap photos with the 5.0MP rear-facing and 2.0MP front-facing cameras.

Great tablet, Very light

I had purchased another tablet on sale at Verizon, Started having problems opening PDF files, Looked up the reviews and returned it, Bought the Tab E with built in uplink to Verizon. I have had it six months, Battery life is good, great screen, Lets me read pdf files with no issues, I mainly bought it because I have and Ipad and Asus tablets that hurt my hand after an hour using them. This tablet is light weight, I can hold it for a long time, Does all I need. If I am at lunch I can read my news on flipboard, I can use it as a timer for those giving a presentation, they can see the screen great, My grand kid loves to watch steam train videos on it. When I vacation its loaded with apps so I take it with me. Its smaller than an Ipad3 but I can read the text fine, Love the uplink, (I dont think you have that option here unless you buy it from Verizon) But It goes wherever I go. I have the Samsung Note 4 so it is easy to learn to use. The Ipad gets used in the evening at home, The Asus is turned off, I grab this one for everthing else.
My Best Buy number: 3502320157
I would recommend this to a friend!

The 9.7-inch iPad Pro delivers an unprecedented combination of portability and performance. At just 6.1mm thin and weighing less than a pound, iPad Pro features the brightest, most advanced Retina display ever with True Tone, advanced sensors that adjust the display to your environment for even more comfortable viewing. It has a powerful A9X chip with 64-bit desktop-class architecture, four speaker audio, advanced iSight and FaceTime HD cameras, Touch ID fingerprint sensor, ultrafast Wi-Fi and LTE Advanced connectivity, and up to 10 hours of battery life. When you add Apple Pencil with its pixel-perfect precision, and the incredibly thin Smart Keyboard, iPad Pro becomes even more versatile.*

Best tablet I have bought to date
By Robert
I am a contractor and reviewed all tablets before making this purchase. I own 3rd generation Ipad, Asus tablet, and the 9.7 Samsung version. I needed a tablet that could allow me to write up estimates in pdf and take notes and take photos as i do home inspections. I bought Notabilty in the App store. I love this thing.. I can sketch, draw, make notes, take photos, write on them, import full pdfs and write on the pdf.. Makes my estimates 100 percent better, The apple pencil is required to take the best notes but just buy it... Apps are optimized for the 9.7 and the weight is half the generation 3, I still use generation 3 but it is so much lighter and doesnt hurt my hand reading news or viewing email or pdfs. The battery life is very good. I bought the verizon enabled version so it updates all the time. When I lost power during the storm I could still communicate as it had Verizon uplink, Well worth the 2 year contract, Get the 128 gb version, I bought the case that allows me to close the lid and shut it off. My pencil tip got lost and it quit working with notability but Apple care replaced it next day... So far so good, Very happy with it, Everything else is gathering dust, I still keep my Samsung table E version as I am an android fan.. But the Apple pro 9.7 travels with me daily.

Update on this post

I have had this table 6 months now and so far its fantastic, As a contractor I have been using Notability on it to edit and mark up pdf home inspection files, I also use it to take photos of jobs and hand write notes on the photos using the electric pencil. I love the pencil, Battery life ahs been very good and when I am not using it for bis I read a lot of news, Its compact but large enough screen and lite weight, It was worth the money getting the Verizon cell tower hookup, Email is with me all the time with a secure connection, I bought a magnetic shut case so its quick on and off, I have the android tablet with verizon, Samsung tab e version but its a dust collector now, Not that I am bashing it but the camera on the Ipad is noticeably better and the electric pencil just makes my job so easier, I dont have to take a notebook into the field to write on if I dont want to. I have no regrets except I have heard the next generation of this table is going be a game changer. I wont upgrade since this tool is so good but I am anxiously waiting for the new one seeing what they added. You cant go wrong with this tablet, If samsung would make one like this with notability I might consider a trade up but this tablet has held its own.

How long does the first charge take when you set the tablet up?

I think it charged 6 hours the first time, THat was out of the box, After that it depends on which charger you use, It seems to like my Samsung one so it charges in 3 hours but I run it down to 50%. Use the factory charger and it is a lot quicker.
