PS4 Pro is a nice upgrade from the original PS4 released 3 years ago. It's better and improved in every way. I am also glad they decided to not include a UHD 4k drive so they could keep the cost down. If you are looking for a console with a UHD 4k player look to the Xbox one S. The hardware isn't as powerful as the PS4 Pro but you will be able to play games and watch the limited but growing amount of UHD blu rays that are available.

I truly believe this is one of the best monitors you can buy at this price point.. 1 ms refresh rate, 144hz, adjustable stand, and once tweaked and properly set up, it has a fantastic display.
This display is the biggest issue with this monitor because out of the box it just isn't that good. It's extremely bright and the colors look washed out. I have spent a few months messing with settings and tweaking the display and I will share the settings below that I am happy with that rival the color and great picture of any ips display you can compare this Philips to.

Plays all my games ( new and old) at max or near max settings at 1080p and 60 fps or higher. Pc boots up in mere seconds thanks to the ssd. GTX 760ti is a fantastic card, much better than I expected. Would buy again.

Great headset for PC or console gaming

How Often Used:1-2 times a week
I use this headset to game on PC, PS4, Xbox One, WiiU and PS Vita. The sound is completely natural. Meaning that there are no added effects or sounds other than what the game is offering, so you get to hear the game exactly how the developer intended you to.
I also own b&w P7's which are superior to this product in every way except gaming, IMO Sennheiser really nailed what they set out to do with this headset. It all comes back to that natural sound these offer and the great mic.
You will need a separate adapter PCV 05, if you want to use the mic on Xbox live or PSN. It's $15 and converts the Y connector ( mic & audio) to a single plug so you can plug into the Dualshock4, xbox one controller, wiiu gamepad, or vita and use voice chat. You will also need the Xbox one chat adapter to plug into if using microsofts console.
This headset is a tank. Its light weight, but very solid (plastic) and even though it hasn't happened I know it could take a drop to a hard floor and not be damaged.
The mic is off when raised, you simply lower the mic to turn it on and chat away. There is a volume wheel on the right side of the headset. This is one of my favorite features just for the ease of use, you won't realize how much you will use this until you start using the product, at least I didn't. The volume on the wheel adjusts the sound and chat from 40-100%. You can't turn the sound off with the dial alone.
If I'm not going to be using voice chat I plug into my reciever using the supplied larger plug. I do notice a difference in sound. It sounds better than when using them plugged into a controller. It has more bass and can be turned up louder, but you can't use the mic. So the sound quality of this headset is somewhat determined by the source of the audio and the power it outputs. That being said, they still sound very good while plugged directly into the controllers I listed.
Almost forgot to mention how comfortable these are. The plush velvet ear pads are very soft and flexible. They feel great around your ears and pressing against your head for hours is a non issue. You forget your wearing them after awhile. These are open, so you can hear everything going on around you, they also leak sound, so others can hear them somewhat.
I'm probably forgetting something but this is a long read already. If you've made it this far thanks for reading and if you couldn't tell, I definitely recommend these for any gamer looking for a quality headset.

So I just picked up this game to play with my 4 year old who started running around and flapping with excitement when he saw it.
Good graphics, easy to play. We play exclusively in co op mode and have a blast playing together. This is just a good positive game that makes us both happy. It's nice to escape to a game like this after a long day at work or on a rainy day.
This won't be the last Lego game we buy that's for sure. And remember, everything is awesome!

I played through this game on my 360 and loved it so I didn't hesitate to pick it up for ps4.
$60 well spent after you see all the details and hard work that went into this definitive edition, the game looks absolutely incredible. Best graphics I have seen on a console and look as good as a high end pc.
Pick this up and see what your new ps4 is capable of.

Years later I have come back to this review and I am still using this outstanding headset. Still works like it did day one, no issues. Love this product and would purchase it again in a heartbeat. Great job Sennheiser.

HDMI cables
Are all HDMI cables the same or do you recommend specific cables to get the best picture quality from this TV?
Get a hdmi that supports 4K, 3D and arc. Most of them will say newest standard. If you pay more than $15 for a cable 10ft or less you are a fool. Agree with me or not, I've tested it out and my $11.99 6ft cable will give a picture equal to anything that costs more.

Does the TV's Optical Audio Output pass Dolby Digital or DTS 5.1 channel audio signal?
I purchased a Definitive Technology W Studio sound bar system and it does not have ARC. Therefore, I couldn't connect via HDMI and had to use an optical cable connection. But, I am concerned that I am loosing sound quality if the TV can't pass full unfiltered audio through its optical output. Is audio signal pass equivalent for the optical output as the HDMI ARC?
Not equivalent to the hdmi. But it will output Dolby digital 5.1 via optical output.
