Bought it 11-27, now it's 12-13 and the flip part just flipped off and flew under the fridge. Not sure why it broke, but it'specifically worthless now. $60 paperweight, beyond the 15 day return policy, so stuck without a headset while I fight Motorola for support.

Is there a signal booster for Verizon droid that will acquire signal where none is available?

Your question answers itself. If "none is available" you can't boost nothing. If you have at least a weak signal, then a booster might help. I would check several different providers, as there is no signal for sprint inside my house, but 4g LTE 4 bars through Verizon in the same spot.
