Good Quality Great Design

I originally had a Samsung oven but decided to get rid of it due to noise and uneven heating. I decided to go with this KitchenAid oven because of its attractive design and good reviews. A couple things i'd like to mention would be the storage drawer feels cheap and flimsy. Not a big deal considering i wouldn't be using it much. Another thing is the control knobs are cheap plastic i expected better especially since my much cheaper Samsung had metal knobs. The touch pad is not glass touch like i thought so you have to push the buttons kind of firmly. The oven was delivered with a dent on the door. Best Buy is taking care of it but it's still a pain to deal with. I do like the big viewing area the door offers. I did get the Geek Squad 3 yr warranty. I definitely recommend it they're very helpful with any problem you may be having.

The microwave works great except the display flickers every 10 seconds or so. KitchenAid was quick to refer my issue to an appliance repair company. After waiting almost two weeks for the part, the alliance repair Co decided not to take apart the front to install the new board. Instead, they suggested to replace the entire door which I am still waiting for that part to arrive. I feel this should have been tested at the factory before being boxed up. This is a QC issue with KitchenAid that needs to be fixed.

Extended warranty questions
My Range that i purchased on Jan 4th is being delivered on jan 20th.
I assume my extended warranty (GSP plan) starts the day it arrives, right?
I was told i had time to reconsider the protection plan, and now i'm reading that the protection plans are not a good use of money.
Do i get 15 days or 30 days to return the protection plan?
I used a new best buy visa that i opened the night of the purchase, not sure but i think that gave me some advantages related to returns?
To be clear i want to know when is my last day to return the protection plan?
The protection plan covers open box items right?

The Protection plan starts the day you get your item. I do recommend the protection plan! I have the GSP plan on both my KitchenAid appliances and i've had to use them both. Geek Squad has been very helpful in fixing any issues and i feels it's worth every penny. I would imagine you have 15 days from date of purchase to return the plan.
