I bought Ollie, thinking that I would use it for a while then it would most likely set on the shelf, but then I played with it. This little bot is a ton of fun, it works great indoors but is the most fun in a bit parking lot or an area of ground with lots of dirt to drive on. The tricks are fun and learning to steer it takes a bit of work but within the first twenty minutes I had it doing tricks and under control.
I am planning on getting the additional tires when they are released for Ollie.
Bottom line if you are interested in robots and remote vehicles then this is a fun toy for you to get. There is only one app currently but the macrolabs app will work with Ollie as well as the original sphero and sphero 2.0.

This movie is great and very funny. I am not sure why it is called a (2 Disk) blueray as it only has one disk in the box. Still it is well worth the price for the movie.
Google Nexus - 7" - 16GB: With more pixels than an HDTV in the palm of your hand, movies appear in Full HD and even small text looks razor-sharp. Whatever you use it for — Web browsing, watching movies or gaming — you won't want to put it down.

This is my second nexus 7 the other being the first model which is still working just like new. This new model is thinner and a little bit longer with a better camera than the first. The most amazing thing is the screen. Once you see it you will have to own this device. Watching a movie on the screen is amazing. I have an iPad with the Retina display and let me tell you this blows it away! Plus this has a new more powerful graphics processor and more ram than the previous model. I love how the battery lasts on this one. I can get two days of general use before it needs a charge. If you want a tablet for browsing the internet, playing games, watching movies, and relaxing with this is the one to get.

This tablet is perfect for any student or person who needs a copy of office to do their job. This tablet runs the RT version of Windows 8 so it has to install all of the programs through apps. It comes with Office, although it is currently missing a version of Outlook, Microsoft is going to offer that in the next month or so. The keyboard works really well although you need to install a small app to turn off the touchpad whilst typing. Just type touchpad in the store search to get your free copy from Microsoft. The app store is rather small currently but it is growing each day. I can remember when the iPad store was small at first. But the apps that are there are of a much higher quality than when Apple launched their store. Overall this is a must buy if you are a student or anyone who needs Office and the ability to print to a usb or networked printer with minimal effort. Battery life is on par with the iPad as well.

What's great about it: Great audio, great video, Very fast, Free MS Office
I got this to attach the camera to a tripod, and this will do it. However I needed to use the microphone input port and this will only connect to the camera's waterproof case and not the camera itself so you cannot use the tripod and the Microphone port at the same time. I fixed the problem with some Velcro straps. I would return it but it may come in handy for outdoor video where sound is not important. Plus it would almost cost more for gas to return it anyways. But all in all it does what is says it will do and holds the camera to a tripod securely.
What's great about it: It mounts to a standard tripod
What's not so great: You cant use it with the microphone port on the camera

access to video and photos
How can I access videos and photo on Tablet? Can I hock it to another PC and see all the objects saved on Tablet like Ipod?
If you attach the tablet to the computer using the charging cable it will install the drivers onto your computer then you can just go to the computer files folder and look at the nexus 7 by clicking on it. You will see the DCIM folder inside it is another folder called camera you can click on it to see your photos. From there just copy them onto the computer and you are done.
Depending on your device you may also be able to charge it from the computer while you are moving or copying photos. Note that if you move the images off of the tablet they will no longer be on it.

What do you do for no volume w/o headphones?
You can try to adjust the settings. Here is a link to explaiin how. http://www.ekoob.com/nexus-7-sound-volume-not-working-11413/
I have noticed since the 4.1 update that there has been a lot of complaints on this tablet. However updates seemed to have fixed most of them. You could check your version and see if there is a newer update for it as well. That is in the settings screen under software version.
Aside from the HD A/V output, is there a simple headphone jack? Music is one of the things I would do with it, but all I need for that is a simple audio output. Not an adaptor (especially a $40 adaptor.)
Yes there is a standard headphone jack on the side of the unit.
Am I able to download content from the Window Surface's Internet browser, and be able to play the games such as games from the gaming-website Steam for an example.
You can download things off of the internet on the surface, however there is no Steam app for the RT version as of yet.
I plan on getting this for myself, Primarily for gaming, though I may use it for some schoolwork. Does it print? Or, do I have to put it on a flash drive to another computer?
if the wireless printer is connected to the same network then you would just run the install printer wizard as you do with windows 8 or open your network icon and double click on the printer as it is listed, this will prompt windows to look online for the driver.
Will I be able to download ebooks from amazon with this tablet?
I currently have a Driod phone with a Kindle app on it, which I read from now. If I get this tablet, will I be able to access that account and download books?
The Kindle app is currently available on the Microsoft Surface.
Outlook RT will be added to the Surface and other RT devices via an update from the Windows Store when Windows 8.1 is released, Microsoft said. So this fall sometime.
