I'd really like to know if the two year contract is actually only $99.99, or if its $99.99 with hidden fee's that they either don't mention here, or that I didn't notice.

I feel the only hidden fee is the insurance requirement. I am paying $11.00 per month for 100%, total coverage, yet a $149.00 deductable.

1.) If I am currently grandfathered into Verizon's unlimited data & I purchase the Moto Z Droid Force here w/ the monthly payments for 2 years, will I keep the unlimited data? 2.) Does the $200 off promo work if I pay in full?

For option one the answers would be no. You would be required to go with a new plan since you are taking advantage of the 0 interest financing offered by Verizon. For option 2, I believe you would be eligible for the $200, and since you are only changing your phone and nothing else, you probably could keep your grandfathered plan.

Yes, it has both. If you download the free app Waze, you have a completely free GPS unit in your hand, updated hoirly. (I have no attachment or affiliation with Waze, I am just a user who loves it).

Our family all has flip phones, with just a shared-minute plan. some of us would like to upgrade to smart phones, but not all. How would this affect our current plan? can we take advantage of this special?

If one person upgrades and you are with Verizon, everyones plan upgrades. I would suggest switching the flip phones to pre paid, it will be cheaper, and then upgrading.

Can it be purchased at this price as an upgrade on my current plan or does it require a new 2 year contract?

It can be done either way. You can get it for the $299.00 price with a 2 year contract. But the better way is to buy it with payments, interest free through Verizon. You can pay it off early, and upgrade again anytime.
