Blinking Red Light

Purchased at Best Buy. TV is Samsung JS7000. Audioquest Chocolate HDMI cable to TV. Turned on, performed firmware update, bricked device. Looked at Samsung's website and AVS forums, plenty of issues due to the latest firmware. Waste of time. I'll wait for Oppo to release their version of a UHD player.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
