I decided to purchase a new washer and dryer when my old dryer died unexpectedly. After several days of reading reviews and comparison shopping, I ultimately chose this HE washing machine due to price and the available delivery time. While there is a small learning curve when upgrading from the old school washers with an agitator in the center of the drum, it's nothing which can't be overcome by looking at the very simple chart supplied in the owner's manual. (I haven't needed to refer to the chart since my initial 2-3 loads of laundry.) I have a family of four and this unit has done an excellent job in cleaning everything I've thrown at it, including queen size comforters. This is an attractive, cost effective machine and I am very satisfied with my purchase.
Dry large loads of clothes evenly and efficiently with this white electric dryer from Maytag. By using its built-in moisture sensor, the dryer automatically shuts off when clothes are dry to reduce energy consumption and avoid damaging fabrics. The interior of this electric dryer provides 7.0 cubic feet of space to handle large loads and tumble out wrinkles.
My old dryer basically fell apart due to old age. After several days of reading reviews and doing comparison shopping, I chose to purchase this unit from Best Buy based on price and their availability to deliver in a relatively short time frame. After several months of use, I can confirm that this is a well made unit. It has a large drum which is more than adequate for drying loads generated by my family of four and can handle a queen size comforter with ease. I typically utilize the "sensor dry" feature and have yet to have a load of laundry which didn't dry completely upon completion of the cycle. As for the aesthetics of the unit, it has something of a "retro" look which I find appealing. The only drawback of the unit, and this is a minor complaint, is the placement of the lint filter on the top of the machine. A small amount of lint falls onto the top of the dryer whenever you remove the filter for cleaning. A small annoyance at worst, but nothing which would prohibit me from recommending this machine.
