Great Coverage and nice interface

This is a review of a free product received from TP-Link as part of the review program.
I installed and tested on of these units in my home (3000 SF) and I have zero issues. These things are phenomenal.. This isn't your run of the mill consumer grade hot-spot.. these are designed for use in commercial settings. They are very rugged. Paired with the Auranet software used to manage these AP's you have a killer combination.. For the price you cant beat it.. It you want commercial grade networking, reliability and a plethora of options give this thing a try.

Excellent coverage and newest technology

I have tested many TP-link products over the past couple of years and they continue to impress me with their innovation, design and fit+finish of their products.
this new router is no different, Once again TP-link has surpassed my expectations and then some. The beam forming technology in these routers for me is a real game changer, I can get a usable signal for streaming HD video in parts of my house that were once impossible to do so.
This router is pretty much the same as the Archer c5400 with the added benefit of the AD band, I have not tested this new band as I have no wireless devices to support it as of yet.
Setting this up was no problem, the directions were clear and concise and the performance is right in line with the other TP-link routers that are similar minus the AD portion. This model has an improved and more stylish power supply otherwise looks pretty much identical to the C5400.
Bottom line is, if you want the latest greatest router available and be among the first to try this new AD technology then this is the router for you. I would expect that we will begin seeing AD compliant devices coming out in the next few months. I look forward to testing this further once i have to devices to support it.

great entry level router

I received this unit as part of the TP-link reviewer program. My opinion is honest and unbiased.
This is a great entry level router to get you to the wireless AC standard inexpensively. I would say that this is an entry level device and not as fast as its more expensive cousins but for someone with a small network that's not streaming from multiple devices and is in an small to average sized house this unit will work just fine.
The setup was straight forward and I had no issues at all. The directions were clear and easy to follow and should be easy for anyone to setup regardless of computer skill.
If you looking for the highest performing router this inst it but for the price its and excellent entry level device for someone with a smaller network and few clients.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great option when WiFi cant be used

I set used to this to create a hardwired Ethernet connection in my garage for use with a Roku streaming box.
the initial setup was very straight forward and plug and play. I encountered no issues whatsoever during the the entire process. I am now streaming HD content in my garage with no buffering or quality issues. This will be great for the summer.

Since there are 3 ports i looked up a laptop to one of the remaining ports and tested the functionality and saw no issues at all.
The only negative I can think of is the fact that is does cover up one of your outlets but the pass-through port is a fair trade off in my opinion.
I would recommend this to a friend!
