Much improved

A little pricey even though it's an entry level but it works excellent. We had a Frigidaire Affinity front loader and it lasted ten years with heavy use. The only thing we had to replace was the door striker. However, during it's last days the plastic door got brittle and came off of the hinge. A 100 dollar fix. Just as we were ready to order a new door for our older unit, it started making a "Bad bearing" noise and I didn't want to invest yet another 200 dollars for a complete rear tub to fix it.
Word of advice, the door design appears unchanged since 2006, if you have kids or have a habit of pushing down on things to stand up from a kneeling position, you would be well advised not to use the door to help you up and teach your kids not to hang off it. This is part of the unit you want to baby.
This model looks to have improvement in design. There is four shock absorbers in this new unit that look much beefier then the older unit's shock absorbers and it only came with two in the front on the older unit (Yes, I took the back off when I unpacked it to see if anything was interchangeable from the old unit).
Unlike the HE top loader I took back after having it only 24 hours, I love this machine because I don't have to walk on eggshells. I just toss the clothes in to near the top of the drum (Not packed tight, loosely placed inside), add my detergent and GO!
Yes the unit is quite and I am more than satisfied with the washing results. In fact, what the Maytag didn't take out, this one did (I knew it would based on having the older model that always worked well).
As far as the matching dryer? If I had money to throw away I would get it, but I get more mileage from old used ones, I am not paying 400, 500, 600 bucks or higher for a dryer with a not needed computer on board.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Tackle tough stains with this white top-loading washer from Maytag. The stainless steel basin provides 4.3 cubic feet of space - enough room for 18 towels in one load. The PowerWash system combats tough stains in clothing. This top-loading washer's deep wash cycle raises and lowers water levels automatically to ensure full submersion.

Tears clothing up

I bought this on sale from another vendor because of the sale price, took it back the next day. I followed the directions to a "T" and yet my socks and towels were getting the strings pulled at. You could see the runs in the towels. We had a little pile of strings when we folded the load after drying. You can tell it is hard on clothes just by watching it! We even tried the deep water setting to try and eliminate the problem. I really did want to like this washer. People often recommend Speed Queens. I went with a front loader from Frigidaire replacing my old frigidaire. Some people hate front loaders, but I have always had success with them.
Some may say it's because our clothes and towels are in fact old that this Maytag tore them up. Well, I would rather have my fabrics last a few more months. I really felt like I had to walk on eggshells with this unit and was going to have to train everyone how to use it (Or walk on eggshells).
If you buy this unit and it does the same things, return it immediately, don't wait. I have heard of stories of some vendors telling customers they are stuck with it only after having it a couple of days!
P.S. The pic below only represents the threads pulled completely out of the fabric, the other items such as towels and socks have strings hanging out of them. Oh, and my front loader washes far better than this Maytag unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Enjoy the flexibility and efficiency you need to prepare holiday meals and everything in between with this 5.1 cu. ft. capacity freestanding gas range. Multiple Power burners make high heat tasks like searing and frying easy, while an 8,000-BTU middle burner offers added flexibility and room to cook all of your favorite dishes. Plus, it's easy to move heavy pots and pans across the continuous, satin-finish cast-iron grates to the optimal cooking location. The large oven window lets you monitor cooking progress without opening the door and disturbing the oven temperature. And when you need to toast a large batch of garlic bread or melt cheese on burgers for the whole family, the full-width under-oven broiler provides enough space to broil an entire rack of food.

Great for 450 bucks

So far I love it. Two things to watch for. Tighten all the screws when you first unpack it, most of the ones in the back of my unit were quite loose. Also, if you cook pizza directly on the rack, make sure all sides of the pizza are supported on the rack properly or one side may sag and make a hot mess of your brand new oven! I don't know why they cheaped out on the oven racks and made the bars spaced so far apart.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Is this a Convectional Oven? Dose the Giddle come with this Stove?

If I understand correctly, a convection oven has a blower or fan. I do not see any such thing on this oven. And yes, the griddle does come with it, it's made of aluminum with a non stick surface. Lodge cast iron makes one that is two sided if one doesn't like the griddle this unit comes with.
