This is the fourth AV surround system I have set up and by far the easiest. Everything went without a hitch , which is unusual. The sound is great, and the receiver itself seems to scream quality. At this price range, it is a bargain. It has the features that will keep it future proof for a while. Can't wait to try the DTXs when it is available. I returned a defective Sony dh770 and upgraded to this with much hesitation, feeling I should have saved the extra money and just gotten another 770, but I am glad I did upgrade to this Denon.

Bought this because of the features it had at a good price and I own a Sony TV I am pleased with.. Many in this range either do not have ARC or are not HDCP2.2 compliant, or have the cheaper spring speaker connections, etc.... Unfortunately, the left side of the display panel and certain items on the menu did not work. It sounded good, but would suddenly change the HDMI input on it's own. Returned it and decided to add a bit more money and got the Denon s720. I am pleased with my purchase of the Denon and will review it in the appropriate place..It I would not hesitate to give Sony another try in the future.

Nice Sony product but not 4K compliant

Love Sony and really wanted to keep this but since it isn't 2.2 4K compliant wasn't going to work

Ron of Sony Listens is telling people it is hdcp2.2 compliant on this site. It is not, I contacted Sony support twice on this . A lot of people will be disappointed if they are expecting 4k protected content to work on this.

Not as advertised

Unfortunately Denon receivers are not working with Pandora. Only after bringing this home, going through the setup process and trying to log on to Pandora multiple times, did I find this out. I had to research Denon website which says they are working on the problem. I called the company and they have no idea when this issue will be resolved. Also, the mobile app locks up constantly. Great sound though.

The Sony 5.2 is way better you have more control over the bass & treble and other sound settings your just paying for the Bluetooth and loosing a lot of features I would go with the Sony 5.2 for 249.99 you will be a lot happier with that receiver. Very rude staff at my local Tulsa Hills BestBuy

That is what I figured until doing research.

Not if you want to watch 4k protected content. That receiver is not HDCP2.2 compliant.

Is this compatable with a vizio led tv?
Should be. I would imagine the Vizio has HDMI inputs.

What's the difference in the Sony dh750 and the dh770? They are almost identical
This one has more power and it is HDCP2.2 compliant, which will let you watch protected 4k content. The 750 is not for 4k. Some commenters are saying it is, even ones from Sony Talks, but Sony support as well as other sites say no.
