The control board went out after less than two months and the machine showed an error code. I called in and the rep identified the problem as being the board. Since it was under warranty they said they would send out a repairman several days later at no cost. The repairman (from a third party contractor) came several hours after the four hour window I was given and on arrival asked what the problem was as if he did not have the previous information provided. On seeing the error code he said it was a control board problem and that he would order one and they would get back to us. That could have been done prior to the appointment. After a couple of days we heard nothing so we called back the contractor and left messages but got no response. We finally called back Whirlpool and they tried to call back the contractor but they were closed. Instead of saying they would get back to me with an answer, they want me to call them back at another time. At this point we have been without a washer for over a week and have no date for resolution. Our laundry is piling up. Don't buy an unreliable machine from a company with no attention to customer service.
