Does not work

I was very excited about this card, I'm just wanting some extra juice for my computer, nothing crazy. I went out and bought this card, after reading several reviews and comparing.
I got home, installed my card, and my computer does not boot. It does not recognize the card.
I'm a geek, I did everything right and tried several hacks and troubleshooting methods posted online.
NOTHING.
This chip does not boot up, it might not happen to you, but it might. It all depends on your CPU, Windows version, etc.
Point is, if you have to go though to much trouble to install A GRAPHICS CARD (the most simple install you can do), then it's not worth it. I'm returning and trying Radeon.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Enjoy rich graphics and smooth video performance with this EVGA GeForce GTX 960 02G-P4-2968-KR graphics card, which offers 2GB GDDR5 memory and a clock speed of 1304MHz. DVI-I, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs offer simple connectivity.

This is a PCI express 3.0 card, your PC is most likely 2.0
Best to ask the geek squad at the store if you can run a 3.0 on a 2.0 slot. From what I heard, you might experience bottleneck, which means the power on the new card will be limited to the PCI 2.0 slot.

How well would this run games like h1z1, csgo, dayz, etc? Also how much ram would it need to run correctly?
It can run any game at low graphics setting. You will need at least 4gb ram. Ram is cheap, so get at least to 8gb total for more power.

I am not a big time gamer, but download and watch HD Movies, etc. Is this product sufficient for this criteria, or do I need to get a higher quality Nvidia Graphics card?
Sufficient for HD Movies and most games.
