MacBook Air features up to 8GB of memory, a fifth-generation Intel Core processor, Thunderbolt 2, great built-in apps, and all-day battery life.1 Its thin, light, and durable enough to take everywhere you go-and powerful enough to do everything once you get there, better.
This laptop runs much faster than my old pc, and after about a month of use, I have not encountered any problems. The 13.3" size is perfect as it is large enough to use comfortably without a monitor, but still fits nicely in my backpack. It has a great battery life and can last over a day without charging. Since this was my first apple laptop, when connecting my old wireless keyboard, I realized that there was no command key. This is not a huge issue, but if you want to be able to use shortcuts, then you need to buy an apple keyboard which I found rather irritating as they are very expensive and do not look very comfortable to use (they're very thin and flat). My only other complaint would be the lack of hdmi and ethernet ports, but these adaptors can be found on amazon for under $15. Despite these issues, I am very happy with my purchase. And a bit of advice for first time users - PLEASE CREATE YOUR OWN APPLE ID! I thought it would be okay to share an apple id with my sister and my mom, and this was probably the worst idea ever. Getting rid of all the unnecessary contacts that automatically synced to my laptop as well as constantly receiving imessages that were not for me was a huge pain and a waste of time. In the end I simply created my own account and started over, and I have not had any problems since.
