I purchased this desktop as a much needed upgrade from my Asus laptop, mainly for graphic design purposes as well as a bit of gaming. I had initially planned to build my own computer, but I found this as I was browsing my local Best Buy, and found it to be more than sufficient for my needs, so I bought it on sale for around $600. My initial impressions are good, and I immediately noticed the fast startup due to the SSD and the overall improvement from my laptop.
From a cosmetic and physical standpoint, the case is appealing to me because of the sleek design without the gaudiness of a lot of gaming computer cases. My only real issue in terms of physical accessibility is the fact that the tower does not fit nicely on its side, and I prefer my tower to sit on my desk. Normally, this would not be too much of an issue, but because the anterior USB slots are on the top of the machine, I tend to have cords in front of my face. This is really my only gripe with the computer. Aside from that, there are plenty of USB slots, which is important to me, and the overall design is very nice.
As for the specifications, I am very pleased. The GeForce GT 730 card is serving its purpose well, and 8 GB of RAM have proved to be plenty for my purposes. I am happy with hard drive speeds, especially when using the SSD. I was thankful to have found something with an Intel processor as well, which is making Photoshop and After Effects jobs much more tolerable. No major problems in this field.
There is a bit of pre-installed software (as is to be expected with most computer) that I have not had any issues uninstalling. This process was painless for the most part, which is great compared to in some other machines I've used in the past.
Overall, I would certainly recommend this computer to anyone who is looking for a machine that will get things done smoothly without completely breaking the bank.
