Wash clothing efficiently with this 4.2 cu. ft. GE washer. Its deep fill button lets you add extra water to the tub for loads that need it. The dual-action agitator on this stainless steel GE washer moves in both forward and reverse directions to thoroughly clean even heavily soiled items.
I bought mine at Sears about two years ago. It worked really well for the first year. After that, it began to have what I assume are electronic issues. It starts to fill with water, gets somewhat full (it's different every time) and then quits. I press the button to start it again and it spits a little water and quits again. I can't find a way to get it to work correctly anymore. Because everything is electric, if you cancel the current cycle, it's drains out all the water before starting again. Everytime this happens, there goes all of your laundry detergent. I can only imagine how much detergent we've wasted in this thing. A few months ago also, the plastic attachment that holds the agitator on broke into a few pieces. At least it was only $20 online since I'm able to replace it myself. But, finally, enough is enough and we can't take it anymore. We're going out to find a different machine.
