We love the black stainless and slide in look. It is really easy to keep clean even with all our kids cooking on it. The gas top works well. We have had this unit 3 months and have not been able to get good results in the oven cavity with or without the divider. With the divider in: The top smaller portion of the oven is where the broiler heating unit is. The result is the heating element is just inches from your food. Even with reduced temperatures we have burned pizzas and taco shells in the time it took to preheat the upper portion of the oven. The technician measured the temperature of the upper unit and measured it as normal. The bottom portion also reads slightly lower than expected with the divider in. I have good results cooking smaller items in the lower portion with the divider in. With the divider removed: With the oven preheated to 400 F the technician gets a temperature reading of around 400 at the top of the oven and 250 at the bottom (this is with convection running.) This cannot be fixed and was told this is normal because as soon as the divider is removed it turns off the bottom heat sensor. The geek squad tech said he has never seen such a large temperature difference within a cavity of an oven. Be advised that it is hard to cook more than one food item at a time with the divider out. If you need everything cooked at the same temperature, or if you are cooking a large item, make sure the bottom of it is cooked and the top isn't overcooked. I have cooked in lots of ovens here and overseas over the years we were in the military, this one is the hardest to get good results. I have been actively cooking and baking for over 40 years.
