Enjoy watching movies with the DVDRW drive on this refurbished Lenovo laptop. With Windows 10 Home preinstalled, it's simple to set this computer up on arrival. The 14.1-inch screen is easy to see, and the 256GB solid-state drive in this Lenovo laptop has plenty of space for new programs and files. Learn more about refurbished products ›

Tough Luck - 0 battery life
on November 8, 2016

I have bought several refurbished products from Best Buy but never a laptop and unfortunately its been a pretty bad experience. I was quite disappointed with the physical state of the laptop - it was all covered in black sticker to hide the wear on the body including the keys and mouse pad. Once I took off the sticker it looked like the previous owner stabbed it with a knife and also engraved his company name. Worst of all - the battery life is almost 0 - it doesn't last more than 15 minutes. Now, how can we call this refurbished? There's food particles stuck on the speakers which just won't come off. Also, it is evident that the laptop has been taken apart then put back together - you can tell when you type - that hollow brittle feel. Title of this product is very misleading - it should say 'extensively used' not 'refurbished'. Don't get me wrong - I love Lenovo laptops and this review is nothing against quality of Lenovo. The refurbishing company is to blame - this third party vendor, I don't recall the name - they provide a one year warranty as well. Take my advice, spend some extra dollars and buy a new one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Planning to buy Laptop

Hi am from India and travelling USA on 2nd December and planning to buy a Sony Vaio Laptop and have heard that its really very cheap in thanks giving week. Is it so? and if yes where can I get it and for how much will I get it.
Impossible to give an estimate without knowing specifications of what you are looking for. Yes, there are a lot of sales during thanksgiving week but mostly on entry level laptops. At most you will save $50 on a Sony Vaio.
