Use this Maytag over-the-range microwave to heat frozen entrees or make a quick midnight snack. The Sensor Cooking feature automatically adjusts the power level and time to take the guesswork out of reheating leftovers or defrosting meats. This Maytag over-the-range microwave also has extra lighting to provide more visibility when you use your range.

Known flaw, Maytag won't fix

This product has a well-known flaw with its door switch which renders it useless unless fixed. It doesn't show up right away, but it does show up early in the product's life. Ours was bought about a year ago. Maytag refuses to fix it as a product design flaw. The rude customer service rep wanted to charge at least half the cost of a new one to send a repairman out. Stay away from this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
