I was skeptical on purchasing this TV at first because I wasn't too familiar with its brand. After researching, I found out that Hisense is one of the world's largest TV manufacturers, just not that popular here in the USA. 2 issues I have noticed is that there seems to be a good amount of light bleed/clouding on dark scenes. Unfortunately the only real solution is to upgrade to an OLED display which cost thousands more. The second issue I notice from time to time is that background still images judder. Not sure if it's due to its 60 hertz refresh rate or not. Some may not notice, but I do. On the plus side it has tons of features and a user friendly menu. Also, the free 4 year warranty through Hisense sealed the deal. Out the box, you get a 2 year warranty. If you register the TV (which I highly recommend), during the setup process or online through their website, you get an additional 2 years.
Although 1080p content looks great, for this TV to really shine, you need to have a 4K source such as an X-Box One S, PS4 Pro (for 4K gaming), or 4K Blu-ray player to play 4K Blu-ray discs. You can however stream 4K videos through it's built in YouTube app, which looks phenomenal and life like. The built-in Netflix app looks good too! Just make sure your Netflix service is updated to stream 4K/UHD content. After researching, it seems HDR10 is not yet enable. A firmware update should solve this once it becomes available....hopefully soon in order to get the full effect!!!
I would definitely recommend this TV. BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK!!
