Excellent cleaning, Amazingly quiet, Water Saver!

Interior bottom of tub is plastic, but that's no problem; it actually helps eliminate machine noise. Our kitchen and family room are adjoining with no divider wall, making the ultra quiet operation of this dishwasher a welcome blessing when watching TV, listening to music, or napping on the sofa in the family room. The sound of the water going down the drain is the loudest part of the cycle. When dishes are loaded right after a meal (before food can dry on) I can run the Express Wash cycle, and 30 min. later, the dishes are perfectly clean. If hosting a lot of guests, I have to run two or more loads since the tub is not huge, but that's not a problem for me. Owner's manual could do a better job explaining how to disassemble the filter for cleaning (a gentle tug unsnaps the screen cartridge from the center tube) and keeping it clean is critical to avoid early cycle shut down and display of undocumented error codes (look them up on the internet.) Be sure dishes are free of large food pieces and especially "leafy" things like lettuce before putting them in the dishwasher and the filter stays clear longer. At cycle end, dishes are very hot and somewhat wet - leave the door closed for a couple of hours after cycle end and dishes will be cool and dry. No exposed heating coil in the bottom of the tub means no melted plasticware or storage containers if they should fall out of the utensil tray or dish rack. (Hooray!) It's a really good machine.
What's great about it: Cleans dishes well and very quiet operation
What's not so great: Must clean the filter at least once per month.
I would recommend this to a friend!
