Incompatible with Samsung televisions

I spent 5 hours trying to configure this, trying to accommodate the network requirements and remote app setup. I finally took a break and began digging for info on this. Lo and behold I began to see a string of forum posts and reviews with one thing in common: Samsung televisions. It isn't the fault of Sonos, but the lack of compatibility on Samsung's part. There is an issue with the audio signal transferring between the HDMI coming in to their TVs and the optical out.
So, I didn't ever get this thing to work, as much as I wanted it to. I have no idea how it sounds.
Buyer beware, if you have a SAMSUNG television, you will have to pass on this. Best Buy associates probably don't have any idea of this issue, and certainly didn't say anything about it to me. Returning this for a Harmon Kardon.
What's great about it: Wouldn't know

I bought this not too long after it came out, as well as the keyboard/docking station. At first, it ran like a dream. After a while, it began to slow down quite a bit, even though I hadn't added that many apps to it. I keep tabs on the running apps and kill the necessary ones, just to try and keep it running smoothly. If you have the power saving all the way to the "green" setting, it won't wake up and you have to hard boot it.
The power button wasn't well thought out and somehow it became wedged inside the body, so all it would do is constantly reboot. I took it back to Best Buy and they contacted Asus. Both said it wasn't repairable. So now I am stuck with a tablet that I had to rip the bezel apart from just to keep it from rebooting constantly. My 7 year old uses it now as I don't really care if this thing meets an early demise or not now. I definitely won't be buying another tablet of any kind, especially a Transformer series...
What's great about it: Smooth video
What's not so great: Everything else
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent phone

Phone size:Just right
I upgraded from the Inspire HD, only after the battery started to wane and the phone started acting up accordingly. I've had the One for about two weeks and have really enjoyed my upgrade decision. I was thoroughly happy with the Inspire, and am even more so with the One. It is light, not too big, FAST!, sounds great, LOUD speakers, great display, and hasn't slowed down a bit with all of the apps I have put on it.
The camera takes some pretty nice photos in moderate to bright light, but other phones have more megapixels and are sharper, but if you find yourself in low light situations every now and then, this phone can't be beat in terms of low light shooting. I own a DSLR so the MP count isn't important to me in a phone.
The software is scaled back vs. a Motorola or Samsung, so for me it was a no brainer. I like simple. How Samsung gets all the glory, I'll never understand. HTC is a very underrated brand.
What's great about it: Everything except camera
What's not so great: Could use a few more megapixels, but low light capability is incredible
I would recommend this to a friend!
