A loaf of bread tied to the back of the vehicle would work better. Had it 5 days and worked intermittently. CS kept on apologizing tech support said fixed it wasnt. There continual answer, remove unit and reinsert. Than their system went down nationwide.
Dont waste your $$. My advice, but Mastrack, I know that works.

CAN HUM BE TRACKED IF IT IS NOT CONNECTED
No, it can only send a signal utilizing the OBD port. That is what powers it. I owned this unit for 5 days and called tech support 10x. Try Mastrack, a true GPS system.

Can you track this device from your phone anywhere or only in bluetooth range? I want to purchase for my teen driver but would like to also see location from home
Yes it has an app. The unit is directly related to Verizon cell service where the unit is located. So bad cell signal, no locate service. I owned this unit for 5 days and called tech support 10 times. Try Mastrack, a true GPS service.

Is there a monthly fee
$10 per unit billed on a credit card not debt card. Dont waste your $$ on this product. Try Mastrack , a true GPS tracking device and vehicle monitor. This unit works off Verizon cell towers does not track. It reports by pinging the unit only when you refresh the signal.
