I had been looking for a desktop system to replace my home brew that was getting kind of long in the tooth. I have been assembling my own for about 25 years but was tired of providing my own tech support. The DD931 was about the 10th off the shelf system I reviewed and after talking to "Brandon" at the St. Johns Town Center Store in Jacksonville I came home and started looking seriously at the ibuypower.com DD931. One note about Brandon... he has characteristics I admire in a sales person. Among them plenty of product knowledge without reading from the box or information card on the display and, more important, when I asked him a question he wasn't sure about or didn't know, he didn't hesitate to say so and then proceed to get the answer for me.
This system uses top of the line components (Mostly MSI) and the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 is about as good as it gets today! I'm an old time gamer who still believes that Microsoft Flight Simulator is a pretty good benchmark for raw computer/graphics power.. In addition I run a 4 monitor system and the DD931 handles all the views, including the virtual cockpit, all at max settings, without breaking a sweat.
Although I've had this system only for a week I couldn't be any happier. "Infant mortality" Iis a problem with sophisticated electronics so yes, some folks will experience a failure within the first 72 hours no matter how much load/stress-shock/environmental testing the systems are subjected to. Between ibuypower.com and Best Buy it shouldn't be more than a temporary inconvenience. If you need an awesome desktop for gaming I don't see where you can go wrong with this one!
