Your household is busy streaming media, working online, and playing games every day. This Linksys Wi-Fi Router will expand your network coverage, send signals directly to your devices, and deliver a lag-free connection, even when you’re all online at the same time.

Decent wifi router - awful software

The signal and coverage on the EA9500 is really good. The eight gigabit ports are nice. Even the minimalist exterior of the router itself is acceptable. What is absolutely horrible, in my opinion, is the software/GUI.
There are more problem areas than I care to detail right now, so I'd like to flash DD-WRT on it but it looks like Linksys does not allow that.
Still trying to decide whether to take it back over the software.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It has two USB ports, is it easy to connect a printer to share? How about a HDD? Does it require that the HDD be formatted when connected? Because that is what my current E3200 requires.

I moved my external hard drive directly from another router to this one with no formatting required.
