I needed an extra monitor for when I work from home one day a week, and this fit the bill. I didn't need anything crazy, as it sits idle 6 out of 7 days a week, so I just needed one that works well, has a good image, and wasn't too expensive. The one thing I really love about the monitor that I have yet to utilize is the HDMI input, so in theory I could one day use it as a small TV if I ever need to. So, it's nice to have that option. And my one complaint about it is the "new age" design for the stand, it has a clear plastic section, just looks cheesy in my opinion, but that wasn't enough of a deterrent to pick up a different one, and shouldn't be for anyone else.
What's great about it: Easy to Set Up, Light, Crisp Images, Low Energy Consumption
What's not so great: Wish it didn't have the clear section on the base

Best Alternative to IPod Earbuds!

I have always had issues with the IPod earbuds, they just don't stay in my ears, so I always had to buy the bulkier ones that wrap around the back of your ear, but even those don't entirely stay in place. I've had Sony, Philips, and even the Nike ones. They all stayed on my ear, but the speaker bud always eventually starts to fall out of my ear when I'm running.
So for Christmas, after my wife apparently advised my mother-in-law that I have "deformed" ears and can't wear normal earbuds, my caring mother-in-law bought me these Ironman ones. And I have to say, they are awesome! I can run 5 miles, sweat up a storm and they stay put! The sound is great, the design is perfect, and reasonably priced (even though I didn't buy them.
I have to admit though, they do seem large in your ear, they take up pretty much your entire ear cavity much like the wax ear plugs everyone used to go swimming when they were younger. But despite the size, it's well worth it.
If you have issues with earbuds falling out, give these a shot, the silicone mold makes these stay put!
What's great about it: Fit, Sound, Function!
What's not so great: Could be a little cheaper.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My wife bought me the 3790LMT for Christmas (which is awesome as well, but this is not the review for that), but I didn't like having the windshield mount because it made the GPS difficult to reach for while in the driver's seat, for instance when you need to quickly zoom in. So, we went to the Norwalk Best Buy and saw what they had, the guy there said that the Garmin Dash Mount with the bean bags gets returned quite a bit, but didn't know much about this one, other than he never sees it get returned. So, $43 less 20% was a little much for what it was, but I have to admit, it's fantastic. The dashboard in my Volvo has a hardbreack and slopes down towards the console, so I was doubtful that this would bend and stay in place, and it has yet to budge! Taking a turn with speed, swerving, or gunning it up an on ramp, this things stays put! The way you can bend it to mold it to your dashboard is awesome, and it stays up, even when you detach your GPS, it doesn't try and come with it.
I would highly recommend this dash mount! A little much for what it is, but well worth it! Only wish it was a little smaller, but it's really not that big either.
What's great about it: Function, Style, Effectiveness.
What's not so great: Yet to find anything bad about it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Sadly... a waste of $10

My wife and I are huge fans of the show, huge fans! We will watch it on loop repeatedly. So, when I found out about this new disc with 2+ hours of new material, I was pretty excited, actually went all over last night to find a place that had it in stock since I didn't want to wait and order it online.
...But the excitement quickly faded when we watched it. There are 7 webisodes that include all Characters except Michael, Jim, Dwight, and Pam.
The webisodes are only about 45 minutes in total viewing, and ANNOYING to watch! They are broken up into 1 minute clips and separated by The Office music and 5 second opening intro... and then close with 15 seconds of credits.
The rest of the 1+ hour of content is the clips with Commentary, an interview with the cast at some convention, a Q&A with the producers at a lecture, and a couple of music videos from the show that have been created.
Try and borrow this from a friend, it's not even worth $10.
What's great about it: It's only $10
What's not so great: It's a waste of $10.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this with a Christmas giftcard on 12/26/09 for $60 through Best Buy, and it was insanely easy to set up and cake to use. It's simple, very user friendly, not complicated, and the longest battery life in the world. I used it every day for about 2 hours every week (I have a very short commute), and it lasted 6 months before I had to charge it again after first purchasing it. Also, the sound quality is great, I use to drive a very noisy car, and people could hear me perfectly while I was on the highway. The voicedialing is great if you sound say all the numbers, the "call by name" feature is a little tougher since the British woman in the voice doesn't always say the name the way you do, but she is batting probably .800.
Overall, this thing is awesome! Best $60 I have ever spent, too bad they haven't run a promotion like that since.
I do have one complaint though, since my house and where I park my car outside the house is so close, it stays connected unless I turn it off when I exit the car, but that's not the fault of the device, because it's doing exactly what it should be doing, I just need to remember to turn it off when I get home.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone!
What's great about it: Easy to set up, easy to use, great price, LONG BATTERY LIFE!
What's not so great: Nothing really...
I would recommend this to a friend!
