Fallout 3 has been out for a while, but this wraps Fallout 3 and the 5 expansion modules in to one attractively priced package.
The game is engaging, but the player will need to invest a bit of time in it up front before it catches hold of you. I played the game for several sessions before I reached my "break-through" point. Now I can't wait to get some more time to play.
Warning note for parents: The game does have foul language, and the violence is often and graphic.
My only dislike with the game is the buggy behavior. My son and I have had it freeze up often, sometimes forcing us to go back to a previous save file to continue. It also will pause during gameplay, almost as if there is too much going on for the console to keep up. I've also run into a couple of gaffs where I've found myself in the middle of a quest without having gone through all of the steps necessary to start the quest!
Overall, however, this has been a very enjoyable game. In a time where many games can be finished in a few hours, making you regret buying them, this game is well worth the current price!
What's great about it: Incredible expanse, flexible solutions to quests, hundreds of hours of gameplay
