Better in some ways
on April 4, 2021

I got this as an upgrade to a regular OneBlade that I've had for awhile. The OneBlade part of it still works exactly like a OneBlade, as expected. The ability to charge it on a stand is a definite improvement, and it's nice to be able to read the level of charge on the display. However, if you store it on the stand like I do, it's never going to get near running out of charge, and you don't need to know when you can take it off the charger, because that's where it's getting stored. The handle is thicker than the regular OneBlade, and I didn't find that made it any easier or harder to use - just different. What I was looking for in this was the guard with many more levels of length than the two clip-on guards that came with the original. While it does have that, the way the guard fits over the blade makes it much less easy to use, and I feel like I have to move it in the wrong direction for the hair to hit the correct side of the blade. After a few minutes of trying to use it like this, I just took off the fancy guard and went back to the old clip-on guards. So if you want this for the recharging stand and the power indicator, fine, but if you're getting it for the fancy guard, I wouldn't recommend the upgrade.

Powerful and Sleek

This would be a recommendation just on the power alone, but there are a number of features that make this blender stand out from the rest. You can simply add your food ingredients in the order recommended, turn the knob, and go! No guessing, no stopping and starting, no shaking or stirring required. This also has more than enough power to handle dough. No need for a separate stand mixer or hand mixer. This also keeps your smoothies colder while you're mixing them. By using just the right amount of power, it blends without also heating the mixture up. This blender also eliminates the need for a separate food processor, mixer and chopper. Cleanup is super easy. It also looks good enough to leave out on your counter if cabinet space is limited.

good with particulates, less good with odors
on January 11, 2021

One of the reasons I wanted an air purifier was to deal with the back flow of smoke into the basement when we first start a fire. The other issue is the smell coming from the closet where we have a litter box. We had this up and running on auto when we started a fire, and it sensed the increased level of particulates within minutes and kicked up the speed to clear the air. It took maybe ten minutes to knock the levels down to where it would ramp the fan speed back down. It's less good at dealing with the odor from the litter box, but it still knocks the odor down quite a bit. The sound level is almost undetectable when it's on slow speed, but you can hear it if it ramps up to high. The automatic setup did not work right, and I had to manually configure the wifi settings, but that's something you only need to do once. Now that it's on the network, the app connects to it right away. Overall, I was really impressed with the automatic detection of particulate levels and how quickly it cleared the room.

Excellent sound, less great ergonomics
on January 11, 2021

The sound coming out of these earbuds is truly surprising. You expect amazing sound quality from Bose, but you don't expect it from tiny speakers that are sitting so far away from your ear canal. It's perfectly possible to carry on a conversation with someone while listening to music at a normal volume. It's like there's background music in the room that only you can hear. Of course, if the room is completely quiet, they'll be able to hear a trace of the music from a few feet away. If there's background noise, they'll need to be a lot closer. You're not going to have a private listening experience with these. They don't fit like other over-the-ear buds. They kind of hook into the ridge at the top of your ear. That makes them extremely stable. I did a complete workout without them budging at all. I even held my head upside down and shook it, and they didn't move. You're in no danger of having these accidentally fall off. Most of the time, I didn't notice they were there, but when I toweled some sweat off over an hour into the workout, I bumped them, and then I started noticing some ear fatigue. The other part of that is that they don't rest against the side of your head like most other over-the-ear buds; they rest against the back of your ear. I think that contributes some to the ear fatigue. The other major detraction is that they don't charge in the case. There's a separate charging "stand" that they magnetically snap into. That stand also doesn't have an interchangeable USB cord. You have to use the permanently mounted, built in USB cord. You're screwed if you ever wear out or damage that cord. Overall, it's a great product, especially if you're exercising outside where you need to hear your surroundings, or even if you just want to carry on a conversation while wearing them.

Good sound, less good design

As far as the listening experience goes, these are high-quality earbuds. Really good midrange and highs, and about as good as you're get from earbuds on the low end. Good sound isolation, lightweight, and comfortable. However, I had intermittent bluetooth connection issues with the right earbud. Not always a problem, but when it was, it would cut out completely and need to reconnect. The way the earbuds fit into the charging case is also finicky. Rather than snapping in magnetically like most other earbuds out there, these get wedged into place. You need to make sure there's a good connection to the charging points, and that's not always easy to achieve. For the price, I expect details like that to be designed much better.

High performance in a sleek package

There are a lot of great features packed into (or along with) this cordless vacuum. There's plenty of battery capacity, depending on how you need to use it. If you have a large area to cover and it's not excessively dirty, you can leave it on the regular setting and cover thousands of square feet. If you need more intense cleaning, you can bump the power to max and still cover several rooms. There is a sturdy stand included that stores the vacuum (and some of the attachments) in a handy position, and it also has the capacity to charge a spare battery at the same time it charges the one installed in the vacuum (spare not included). There are several powered brush options included. One is for wood floors that you might worry about scuffing with the regular brush. The smaller one is handy for furniture or stairs. Emptying the vacuum is easy and intuitive. If you're looking for an all-in-one cordless solution. this is an excellent choice.

Strong ANC, weak bass
on November 5, 2020

Surprisingly small and light, they come in a compact, svelte case with wireless charging. What makes their size surprising is the amount of battery life they manage to cram in. The size limits the on-bud controls to one button per ear, so you're probably going to want to make most of your adjustments on your device rather than on the earbuds. There is a decent app they use for custom equalization, and there is a test to supposedly tailor their output to your individual ear characteristics. The small size makes them light and enables them to nestle down in your ear where they're unlikely to be inadvertently knocked out. It also reduces ear fatigue when you have them in for extended periods. There are very comfortable and fit snugly thanks to an unusual oval shape of the ear tips. The active noise cancelling works VERY well, aided by that secure fit. The sound is good but not great. Fine for music and video, though you won't impress any audiophiles. They are lacking in low-end response compared to other true-wireless buds, but that may be a size/weight trade off. Pairing was easy and smooth, even when switching between devices. Easy to get in and out of the case, but they're held in place magnetically so they won't inadvertently fall out either. This is a super pair of true wireless buds for the price.

powerful and easy to clean

High power, high quality immersion blender. The multi-speed feature enables you to match the power to the task. Use high speed to blend ice into smoothies or low speed to mix flavored butter or sauces. As easy to clean as non-stick surfaces, though I don't think it specifically claims to be. All you need to do is fill a cup with water, add a drop of dishwashing soap, blend it on low for a few seconds, then rinse and dry. Highly recommend.

Good sound, awkward controls
on October 2, 2020
Posted by: bradcon
from Hays, KS
The audio performance on these is middle of the road - just fine for working out, but you're not going to be impressed if you're looking for high-end sound. Definitely less bass than other true-wireless options out there. They're plenty comfortable, but stay away from the "cloud foam" ear tips if you're going to be wearing these while you sweat. You might as well put sponges on the tips. They will get soaked through, and you void the warranty if any moisture is introduced into the charging case. The charging case is conveniently able to be charged wirelessly, but instead of having a socket that can be used with a standard USB cable, it has a built in plug with an extremely short attachment that can only use a USB A socket. So unless you're going to set these down next to a computer or a charging brick, you're going to want to have a wireless charging pad. The buds have touch controls, but it's a single spot to do everything, so unless you're changing the volume, you need multiple taps on a specific side (changing the volume requires a single tap on a specific side). They are pretty sensitive too, so I was constantly bumping the volume up or down as I was toweling sweat from my head. The buds fit securely in the case and are easy to get in and out, and there's also good indication that they're charging. Overall, a pretty solid option with a few minor drawbacks.

Good, basic option

For someone who just wants the basics, this is a good choice. It's a solid, functional crock pot with the added feature of a locking lid, making it good for taking meals out after prepping them at home. It has convenient presets for one-button operation. Big enough to use for a family meal, but not so big that it's impractical for smaller dishes. Easy to clean and lightweight.
