The refurbished Apple TV came in like new condition. The remote was clean, charged, clean power cable and brand new lightning cable.
The case was covered with BestBuy and GeekSquad stickers, but other than that it's a like-new product.

It's a nice case. It's thin and has some padding, but it's a bit too big for an 8" tablet. It has a felt type of interior with two credit card pockets and a pen holder. On the back of the case there's a pocket to hold accessories like a charger and cable

For a $ 30 tablet; it works; with major considerations.
I didn't expect much from this; but found its limitations right away.
Pros:
- Rock bottom cost.
- Stock android 5.1.1, and supports Play store.
- MicroSD card slot.
Cons:
- Screen is terrible: I can live with the low resolution; but if not looking straight into it at very close distance; has no viewing angle. The glare is terrible in very low light. There is a shine when looking at the screen that hurts the eyes very quickly.
- Don't expect anything from the cameras, mic nor speakers (Use headphones if you must).
- It's slow. It advertises quad-core; but be prepared to be very patient. It lags when using the keyboard.
- No bluetooth. I actually missed this detail from the spec sheet when ordering it; so it limits its possibilities as a streaming device.
- Battery life is relatively low. Might get three or four hours with light use; however expected at this price.

Got this as an upgrade to similar older model SX210. It feels much quicker and pictures on average come much sharper. It does feel faster than the previous model with digic5 processor (This has the consumer version of digic6).
One of the first cannon that comes with wi-fi and a-gps.
GPS is still slow and W-Fi integration needs polish, although I had no issue transferring pictures to an iPhone 5 via Wi-Fi at home.
You need to remember to update the a-fps database once a month (to use wi-fi to help accelerate the GPS locations).
It also has smartphone-assisted geolocation with the Cannon CW (Camera Window app). IT does not have remote shutter.
The zoom is very good and fast. Did I mention the auto-focus is faster and less error-prone?

It fits a Canon SX280 with an extra battery snuggly. A bit tight, but wanted the smallest case possible.
The only drawback is that it does not come with a strap; so we let the strap that comes with the camera stick out of the case. Did not use the belt strap.
Its texture is similar so a smooth suede, feels comfortable to th touch and does not attract much dust, so it still looks good after about 2 months of carrying it in either backpacks or larger purses.

Great unit for the price

It works with no issues. We have several Frigidaire branded units.
This unit has electronic controls with memory; so we can use it with an external timer (Actually a Z-Wave relay). Meaning it remembers where you left it (all the settings) after unplugging it and plugging it back on.
As a larger unit; it does generate a fair amount of vibration that translates to extra noise.
It's relatively light for the BTUs, at around 45-50 pounds.
The flaps that cover the window frame do not snap on the window like on the smaller units we have (5000 BTU) so it's a small drawback. It would require either tape or the recommended screws so it stays in place. It seems like a common issue on most units; so can't blame it on this particular model.

I returned the SONY Str-dn 1040 because of its inability to upscale 1080i tv broadcast signal to 1080p thru hdmi cable!!!! The ONLY way possible to achieve this with THIS particular receiver is thru "analog" connection which was a TOTAL DEAL BREAKER for me!!!

To understand why it's not a good idea why 'upconverting' from 1080i to 1080p is not a good idea; please do your own research on what interlacing is.
Performing this on your receiver will not benefit in picture quality. The TV itself has circuitry optimized to the LCD panel that is driving to perform deinterlacing adequately. If your TV is not good at it; don't expect a general purpose receiver to do any better. At that point you'll need a video processor that will cost substantially more than the TV you're trying to get around.
By its nature; deinterlacing will produce artifacts; no matter how good the video processor is; and will also cause latency; for which it needs to delay the audio stream.
And last but not least; it will double the bandwidth of data on the HDMI cable. If you have a long run HDMI; it theory it can be better off to save on bandwidth through HDMI (Although adequate HDMI cables should be no issue to transmit digital signal; occasionally higher frequency of data can cause loss -- HDMI produces a 'stream' of data; so the TV will compensate for any loss of information; if any).

I placed the extender on my room where I get little signal from my router. Now I get full bars and the full speed of my connection. The setup was easy and all you need to know if the name of your routers current 5 ghz band and the password. The extender configures itself. After installing it, I don't have any dead spots on my home anymore. One thing to consider is, after setting everything up, I was not able to enter the extender's web configuration anymore, however following the instructions on this ampedwireless's support forum 1st and 2nd post I was able to again:

+Very slim design, can be setup vertically with the included stand.
+the leds are not that bright, my pic makes it seem so, however they can be turned off. The extender signal led will allow you to easily place the extender where it gets the best signal.

You can get back to the web page when connecting via the access point. If you connect outside the access point (i.e. through the main router), it won't work

Can i activate this for an existing account online?
I have an existing account with t-mobile that isn't pre-paid but monthly and i was wondering if i could use this card and activate it online and pop into my new phone.
I previously had a post-paid account which I cancelled. Then added a prepaid number with this SIM kit and I was able to use my existing T-Mobile username, which recognized both accounts
