Great Game - Learn to Play Guitar
on December 7, 2011

If it wasnt for this game I would have never picked up a real guitar. But, this game made learning a new instrument fun and turned it into a ...... Game. A real guitar acts as your controller and you have to play along and hit the right notes. Also many, many challenging mini games are fun, helps with chords, hammer ons/offs, sustains, etc. Before this game, I didnt even know what those were. Definitly worth it. Must try. You need to own a guitar to play this game!!!!!! you can also buy one with it.
What's great about it: Easy to use, Easy to set up, Fun to play, Great to learn
What's not so great: Need a guitar, more money than regular games
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best Movie Series in History
on October 26, 2011

Everyone knows Star Wars so there is no point reviewing the actual movies. But the Blue Ray series package, I don't think is worth it. The newest 3 movies Star Wars 1-3 were amazing on blue ray and sound quality was great. However, the digital remaster of the original 3 Star Wars 4-6 was horrible. The picture was very very grainy and pixelated. Probably because they added pixels to make it hi-def. Also the remastered sound seemed as if it were slightly off. The speech and the mouth movements were off and made it hard to watch.
These problems had to be the movies, because the first three worked perfect and were amazing, so it definitely is not my player or TV.
Watching on Samsung 59" Plasma PN59D6500 and Samsung Blue-Ray Home Theatre System HTD5300ZA.
What's great about it: Best Series in History
What's not so great: Original 3 Quality is Bad
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Cable
on January 5, 2010

Great Cable for the money. One of the shortest and Cheapest. Dynex is also a great company itself. I used to buy nothing but Monster cable products, however I now realize that Dynex offers the same quality with sometimes more choices (length) and the price is unbeatable. Cheaper cables may be found at discount stores such as walmart and target, however, these cables are usually from off companies never heard of and the quality cannot be trusted. Dynex is the way to go!!!
I liked this cable because it was short, I only needed to make a short jump from my Blue Ray player to my 5.1 Surround system. Also, I very much liked that the cable was black. I care very much about my home theater setup and all of my components and cables are black. Monster cable annoys me because every cable that they make depending on what series it is, is a different color. For example, my previouse cable from Monster: I used a 1000HD HDMI cable for my Blue Ray which was black, and only a 500HD HDMI cable for my cable box which was grey. I was not happy with that!
Once again, BUY DYNEX. It offers good quality for a good price.
What's great about it: Price, Short, Color Black
What's not so great: None
I would recommend this to a friend!

What cord do I need to connect my MP3 player to my car stereo?

Trying to find what plugs to purchase that hooks up a MP3 player to the car stereo Auxillary componet?
All you need is a Mini Stereo Audio Cable to connect the two. It will plug into the headphone jack on your MP3 player and then plug into the AUX port on the stereo in the car. You can also use this method to hook up your MP3 player to speakers or to your computer to play out of the computers speakers.

do you sell a eithernet connector with one male end and two female ends?

No! That would be a router. In order to split an internet connection a router is needed. You can either use a wired or wireless router. In your case you would use a wired router, with one inlet port and 4 outlet ports (usually they have a minimum of 4 ports). For the future you can also get a wireless router instead which would also have the wired ports on the wired ports on the rear but will also give you the option to always use a portable device to connect to the Internet. Routers are very cheap today and are a great thing to buy. See your local Best Buy salesman for details.

coax to hdmi

I broke the rf connector on the back of our tv is there a device to plug coax in one side tghen come out with an hdmi cable to get reception?
There are converter boxes on the market that will convert hdmi signals to coax and vice versa for cable routing purposes. however, these converter boxes are relatively expensive. from what I know there is no simple plug that can just be connected to change the cable over. This is because the signal format must be converted which means a box with that capability is required.
Depending on what type on what your situation is there are other routes that you can take to circumvent this issue that will also provide you with better quality. some examples are if your tv is of lesser quality, then an upgrade could be in your future. With television prices continually dropping you can find a 30+ inch 720P HD television for almost as little as the price of the converter box in which you are questioning. If your television is of higher quality then you can upgrade your cable service and run a direct HDMI line from your source to the television and eliminate the coax completely, this would give you much better sound and video quality over a coax.
There are alot of options available to you and many choices for you to make, see your local Best Buy salesman in stores or talk to a Geek Squad specialist. They are very knowledgeable and can assist you with your buying needs and cable service. I believe they have a direct TV contract in which they can set you up with for better quality.
