Its nice and fairly quiet. It has some great features others don't. It also doesn't have some features that others do. I wanted the hold warm feature. It works great. The light is plenty bright enough, and the fan does a good job. It all really depends on what you want and want to do. This one fit me perfectly.
What's great about it: Certain features hard to find on other units
Quickly prepare delicious meals with this range that features a 5.0 cu. ft. oven capacity with 2 oven racks to easily accommodate multiple dishes at once and 4 cooktop burners that deliver between 9,500-12,000 BTUs of heat to meet your cooking needs.

Very nice inexpensive range

Had to replace an old hot point range when we were installing a new over the range microwave and found out something had ripped all the insulation out of the old stove left by the prior owner. I didn't want to spend a lot on a stove I didn't plan on replacing yet. It was the right price with the options and features I wanted. It doesn't have a self cleaning feature but never used it on the old stove and no matter what you still have to actually clean it yourself. The stove grates are the only problem I have found. They don't hold in place very well and pop out sometimes.
What's great about it: A great value for the price paid
What's not so great: The stove top grates easily pop out of place

No it is not. Still a great stove. Self cleaning only cranks the gas up extra high for hrs. and burns everything up for you to clean up later. I'd rather just clean it and save on my gas bill.
