Hands down best vacuum EVER!

This new design V10 vacuum from Dyson can truly be your ONLY vacuum for your home, car...your everything.
Set up is simple, all you need is to use the hardware provided to easily mount the charging cradle on the wall...plug the V10 in and charge for about 3.5 hours (for the first charge).
Once you charge and are ready to go, just pick from the various attachments provided...shorter ones for cleaning your car or minor touch up here or there or use the longer stick attachments to use as you would a traditional vacuum. There are two brush heads for the job, one that is for more delicate flooring materials and one for your normal everyday cleanup.
You can choose from different power settings on the unit itself and on the brushes, one interesting issue I had was the V10 is SO powerful that I had to back down from the max setting on an Oriental rug in my house as it was pulling so forcefully the vacuum couldn’t move unless I lowered the suction...now that’s some power.
The V10 picks up anything you throw at it, is just big enough and has the power of the best traditional vacuum you can think of and then some.
Get this vacuum, you won’t regret it.

Six stars if I could give them...BEST EARBUDS

I have had other earbud type headphones and various traditional headphones etc..these Jabra Elite are hands down the best I have ever had.
Sound quality is great and customizable with the Sound+ app and the equalizer contained within...pairing is quick and easy and the batteries last a long time. With the included charging case you can go about 15 hours of use, 5 hours on a single charge, to recharge just place them back in the case and recharge them.
SM, MED and LG ear tips are included for the most comfortable fit possible. When in the ear they feel very secure and don’t fall out even under the most vigorous of activities.
Phone calls sound great and the folks on the other end of your phone calls hear you loud and clear with the microphone array in each earbud.
I can’t say enough about these headphones...if I could give them six stars I would...and I have never thought that about any product... get them, you won’t regret it.

Great idea...poor execution

Man I SO wanted these to be great Bluetooth headphones. Truly wireless, no wires in between the earpieces AND JBL quality sound.
Pros...They paired easily with my iPhone and iPad...they come with a case that not only houses them but recharges each individual ear bud as they are stored...Sound quality is great and pleasing to the ear...they have decent bass and fit in the ear nicely and securely...never did I feel they would fall out...all great qualities...
Now for the Cons...the way these operate is the right earbud pairs with your device and communicates with the left in order to have sound in both ears...THIS is where the issue lies...the connection is spotty at best, drops when moving your head, your phone etc and it’s not something that just happens every now and then it’s multiple times per listening session to the point where they are almost un-usable...I contacted JBL and they gave me a reset sequence that I could employ to get them to sync again (which I had already researched online before contacting them) the reset really doesn’t change anything...they still have a spotty connection between the R & L sides...too bad as I really wanted to like these...almost feels like it’s an unfinished product...

Nest Connect extends your home network for the Nest Secure alarm system. It will make sure motion sensors and alarms are connected and operational, even for larger homes.

As an addition to the Nest Secure Alarm System, this will extend the range of the system for the various sensors. Not absolutely necessary but a good addition to the system for larger homes or for those who want peace of mind and a strong signal so there are no drops in signal to system sensors.

Tough on bad guys. Easy on you.The Nest Secure alarm system is easy to live with every day. Just tap Nest Tag on Nest Guard to arm and disarm the alarm - no passcode needed. Nest Detect sensors look out for doors, windows and rooms. And with the Nest app, you can keep an eye on what matters.

Great addition to the expanding Nest Family

First off let me say I am a huge fan of Nest, it started with my thermostats in the house, then expanded to the smoke / co2 alarms in the house and now this great addition to the suite of expanding products Nest offers.
Installation is fairly easy by launching the Nest App and scanning the QR code, starting with the hub and then to the sensors etc
The app is intuitive to use and integrates all very nicely.
You can arm and disarm the system with the app or with the included “Tag”s. You can add a Nest Cam and professional monitoring of you System will be available some time in 2018 which will come at a cost but is not necessary.
If you already have invested in the Nest ecosystem as many folks have, this system builds well on that foundation, as a stand alone system it’s a bit pricey but the great thing about Nest is it just works and there isn’t enough that can be said about not having to worry about quirky electronics.
Overall it’s a great addition to any smart home, I only gave it 4 stars as it’s a bit pricey.

First thing to know about this lamp is you will need to already have or purchase a Philips Hue Bridge that will act as the smart interface.
This lamp is controllable via Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Nest and Wink via the Zigbee certification among others so smart home integration is easy and of course works with the Hue App.
The frosted glass is top notch quality and diffuses the light perfectly throughout your living space.
With a range of warm white to cool daylight you can taylor the lamp for whatever you are doing, reading, relaxing etc
A great addition or start to smart home lighting.

Great mid priced Laptop

This gorgeous laptop has most of the things you will look for in a portable PC.
Beautiful screen with great contrast, sturdy construction and just the right weight to feel like you are holding something substantial not flimsy.
It only has a mechanical hard drive so it’s a bit noisy, would have liked to see an SSD disk but perhaps at this great price point one needs to make compromises. It does have 1TB of capacity which is minimum in my opinion now a days.
It has an HDMI port for hooking up to external monitor / TV and has USB ports including type C and an SF slot as well as headphone jack.

One of my favorite things is the backlit keyboard, it’s gorgeous and the keys have a nice tactile feel to them.
As for sound, you can’t get much better than this at this price point, the B&O sound is pleasing for both music and movies and a great added feature.
Overall the setup was typical Windows, performance was good on typical Office 365 applications and movies on Netflix (with that great sound) are a joy to watch.
The touch screen is responsive and tablet mode is easily activated by flipping the screen over and it works with the MS Surface pen which is great.
Battery life depends on the intensity of your task, word or web surfing much longer, more processor and hard drive intensive tasks much shorter but pretty much in the range of 4.5 - 8 hours of use.
I didn’t give it 5 stars as it doesn’t have the SD HD and is a bit noisy but you truly can’t go wrong with this great mid priced laptop.

Continuous improvement on a great product

I have the original 4 camera Arlo System that has continued to work for me over the past couple of years. There was no two way audio and you had to have a supply of special batteries on hand. The motion sensing recording and scheduling was great but there is always room for getting better. Enter the Arlo Pro 2 camera system. Setup of the Arlo specific router and syncing of the cameras was a breeze and very easy with step by step instructions on the Arlo app. Even though I could have used my original Arlo router, I set up the new one that came with the Pro 2 cameras, all is backward compatible so I also installed my original Arlo cameras on the new router too. Im glad Netgear didn’t leave us early adopters in the dust and allowed backward compatibility which is great to see.
The Pro 2 have HD recording in 1080p, night vision and Two way communication. All works flawlessly. As for the batteries, thankfully Arlo now has rechargeable batteries that you can recharge by plugging into the supplied plug or you can purchase (as I did) the battery charger that can accomodate charging 2 batteries at a time. Rechargeable batteries are much more convenient than having to replace 4 batteries every time they are depleted. I have my cameras go on motion sensing recording every night at 11PM through 6AM, this give me peace of mind and will record any incidents etc when needed. You can also check on any of the cameras whenever you want from wherever you are with the app which is very convenient.
If you want a flexible camera system in HD with some great options the Arlo Pro 2 System is the way to go.

Great smart thermostat

I need to start off by saying you will need a “C” wire for 24volts of AC power in order to power this thermostat, if you don’t have this then this thermostat will not work for you.
Installation is very easy, install the mount and your wires which are clearly marked so you can’t make any mistakes. Once installed the unit will power up, just follow prompts to set everything up, WiFi first of course. The screen is easy to read and very intuitive. The main reason to get this thermostat is the Total Connect App that allows full customization that’s easy to do and adjust as you go along. You can also adjust your system from wherever you are via the app which is nothing short of amazing. It will also work with voice control which is more and more a must.
For a great thermostat that will do all you need and help you become more energy efficient you can’t go wrong, the only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars in my opinion is because it can’t be installed in all applications due to the necessity of having the “C” wire.

Good everyday shaver

Typical performance from Norelco shavers which is a good thing. Performs as expected, gives you a nice close shave and can be used either wet or dry. I like the Turbo feature that puts the shaver in overdrive and lets you shave rather quickly. Also has trimmer that attaches seperately which works well but if you use a trimmer regularly the fact it’s not attached might be annoying. Other than that it’s a great choice for an every day reliable cordless shaver.
