I live in Raleigh, NC and had this service performed by one of the Geek Squad agents. He showed up on time and was very courteous. He calibrated both the 2D and the 3D picture on my Sony 46" HX series TV (a magnolia home theater product). He was describing what he was doing and why he was doing it as he proceeded with the calibration as well as the equipment involved and thoroughly explained each step of the way as well as the benefit. When he was done he sent me an email with a report of the work he had performed and some graphs for the "before" and "after" settings on my TV, you can clearly see the difference on the graphs (the hue, color temperature, RGB balance, etc.) but most importantly when I'm watching TV, I can tell the difference and even my wife (who sometimes claims can't tell the difference between the HD and the SD channels) complimented the colors on the TV and how "real" they looked. To anyone reading this, and ISF certified calibration (which by the way, the geek squad agent that performed my service was ISF certified) in the area will be about 3 or 4 hundred bucks so Best Buy at $250 is definitely a bargain. I wouldn't recommend this service on your 300 dollar RCA or Westinghouse TV but if you have a nice set and you want to get the best picture out of it this is definitely something you should consider. It is just AMAZING, the quality of the picture, the life-like colors, the amount of detail that you can see with adequate contrast, it really brings out so much more of the image and things you didn't even realize you were missing.
What's great about it: Brings TV's true potential out
What's not so great: nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!
