i was looking for something smaller intended to a one of those mini keyboards like the ones fro RII but figured i would try this.
positives are: if you already have a current driver for any logitech keyboards ther is no need to install it again. just plug and play. it is much smaller than most full size boards, and also very light there is a left click button on the left side and does just that left clicks. a on/off switch is also available to save battery life when not being used. the item does come with an adapter if you have a problem with fitting the small transceiver.
negatives: if you are not used to 2 finger scrolling and dont like touchpads to begin with you may want to skip this all together. there is no function lock for a number pad and a total absence of a number pad hence it is a smal keyboard.
this is a great keyboard for "couch surfing" and MAY even work good on some smart tv's.
i would recommend it if you like touchpads i did not care for it thought it would be more responsive.
What's great about it: it is smaller than what im using works great on ubuntu too.
What's not so great: the touchpad is a bit weird
I would recommend this to a friend!

it fits 2010 elantra blue radio delete option. i recommend cut leads somewhat or you will have alot of wiring to deal with. also get some solder, flux, and heat shrink for best install.

i am in the process of switching all my units over to ati cards as i am having too many problems with nvidia cards of various types. from running way too hot to locking monitors into sleep mode on the DVI ports. so i figured a few months back let me try ATI bought a small 4550 by sapphire and was quite surprised by its performance so much so i decided that it would be the end of nvidia for me. the catalyst control center is so much easier to use and navigate software/drivers dont seem to balloon as much. i purchased this card today at a local store though not same maker mine is by SAPPHIRE. as well its the exact same configuration. and it is doing good so far..i am curious to see what the temps are
What's great about it: easy card to install no LOUD FANS
What's not so great: price price price!! why best buy so high on this card??
I would recommend this to a friend!

this is all i have used since the 6.0 release its much easier on the resources the updates are hourly if any are available. i dont agree with the price should and could be 10bones less its not a major brand just a brand that really works good. internet connection is a little slower but thats to be expected with ALL virus scanning software.
What's great about it: easy to install very small hourly updates uninstalls without a trace
What's not so great: takes a while to learn whats safe and not safe (internet security version)
I would recommend this to a friend!

What type of laptop should i buy?

i am in my third year in college and this my first time buying a laptop, i am always on the go and constantly on line, what would be the best laptop for me to buy?
this is a tricky question as it depends HEAVILY what the laptop will be used for but definitely AVOID net books as they most likely DO NOT have the processing power you may and most likely will need. here is what i would recommend a mid range mac since you are most likely going to be using the schools provided ad-hoc network and they are less likely to be hit by a virus but any machine can be used i would strongly recommend at the least these specs.any intel or amd dual core mobile (for better battery life) processor that is at least 1.9-2.5GHz or higher HD250-350+gb 3-6 gb of ram(note 32bit OS. will not support beyond 4gb of ram.) dedicated video card (not sharing system resources) and wireless N wifi. should NOT be DRAFT-N. and a copy of a decent office suite i use open office its free..expect to pay around 650-900 for a decent machine to last for a few years and i recommend at least 1 year extra warranty.

what do i do if my computer crashes?

hopefully you burned a copy of the backup partition which many manufacturers do now so you can reinstall when you get it fixed if not you will need to order a set of backup dvd's. now keep in mind NOT ALL crashes require a reset of the drive. also best buy sells "backup drives" they plug in to your pc and you can backup periodically to minimize your loss.. i recommend this for a sunday morning takes from 30-60 minutes.

where can I get a laptop manuel

you can usually goto manufacturer site and download it in the form of a PDF. if you are looking for instructions on the components again goto manufacturers sites. important sometimes it may be best to find out who makes the chips i.e. if you have a linksys wireless card find out what the main chip manufacturer is and go there not linksys. if you need help with windows most bookstores have a good series called windows 7 for dummies it should help get you going.

replacing a sata hard drive

I have a HP Pavillion A1150Y desktop.
I think my hard drive is going; its getting louder. The recovery software is in a partition on the hard drive. How would I go about replacing the drive and getting my OS and drivers over to the new hard drive. The hard drive is a 160GB sata drive.
do this NOW before you lose the drive!!! call support is it under warranty?? if not find out how to back-up the recovery partition burn the dvds you may need up to 6 dvds. depends on how large the partition is. then backup all other data on external usb stick or drive. and be prepared for drive to go bye bye.. at any given time. when it goes most any compatible drive should work if you saved your work and files recovery should take about 5-8 (this is an estimated avg. time it may be less) hours..but you will have all your stuff.

do yall do trade ins?

my pc is running extremely slow & ive been looking for a basic laptop, i heard that yall do trade ins like i bring in my computer & yall give me a laptop & yall go & resale my old computer after fixing it up is that true?
yes i believe bestbuy takes trades. just goto bestbuy.com home page goto bottom of page products and support click on trade-ins and answer a few questions to see where you stand.
BUT if your pc is within the last 3 years and run a pentium dual core you could try backing up your system. running the windows upgrade advisor and maybe run windows7. remember you can NOT upgrade from XP to windows 7 i do recommend a clean install however.

can I hook-up to the internet with my desktop through a wireless with out internet service?

my laptop can connect me to the internet(through linksys) without me having to deal with an internet service. could I do the same with my desktop using a linksys canwireless g usb adapter or router?
im wondering how you are connecting without a service?? maybe via the starbooks coffee shop nearby hmmm. yes you could allow the laptop to share the wireless via windows internet sharing. BUT that is risky VERY risky not only is 1 machine at risk but now you have 2 machines open to hackers.

Does certain routers work on certain laptops?

I have an Acer 5335 laptop, and don't know which router is best for it. I'm really decided on a N-router, but I wanted to make sure.
if your laptop does NOT support "N" you are wasting money on something you will never get full use out of. if it DOES then most any router that supports "N" NOT "draft" will do just fine.
