As for the watch all works well. It's very simplistic and has a classy look to it. The watch can and will go with anything you wear rather it's business or casual wear. The watch is rather small and for people with large wrist this may not be the best choice for you. This watch is purely an activity tracker. Users will not be able to receive text messages, email etc. The numbers seem accurate from my testing but the app itself can use some work. Using an Android device with the Nokia Scale it takes anywhere from 30sec- 2 minutes before the app recognizes that the watch is trying to sync data to it which is extremely frustrating. Other than the app and it's small size the watch is super lightweight and works as advertised.

A Much Needed Update

With Android Wear 2.0 on board this watch flies through things without lag. The interface is smooth and much better than Android Wear 1.5. Being a owner of many smartwatches this one reminds me most of the Pebble Time Round. Using the watch daily I average around 16 hours of usage before needing a charge. The watch is not bulky and feels nice on the wrist. The watch is 18mm B&ND ready for additional watch bands and easy swapping of the band. Overall I am satisfied with the device however; if you are already a Android Wear owner who will be receiving the Android Wear 2.0 update you can probably hold off on purchasing this device unless you're eager to get your hands on Android Wear 2.0 or you are in the market looking for something much smaller.

Let me start by saying this is the 1st Lifeproof case I've purchased for my own usage, but I have purchased their product in the past for IPhone users.
Overall I am satisfied with the case but it's not perfect. Let me start by stating the obvious this thing is expensive. At $89 there are others cases that offer similar functionalities with a lower price tag.. The only issue I've come across so far is related to phone usage. When speaking to others on my end it sounds like there is paper over the speaker. To resolve this issue the phone has to be pressed firmly against your face. Other then that the case works as advertise. I also liked the fact that this case warranty includes water damage for a year. In the likely event the phone gets water damaged while in the case Lifeproof will repair the device and case. In order for this to occur you have the register the case within 14 day which includes providing your device IMIEI #, copy of your receipt, the case serial number, along with the case registration number and PIN.
Unfortunately at the time of this review Best Buy did not carry the case forcing me to make my purchase at a local Verizon Store. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase

Bose came through once again for me, I tried the Jay Bird X'3 and although they are well put together and I like the fact the sound quality could be adjusted ,the constant distorted bluetooth issues I experienced when working out or moving around was overbearing. I decided to exchange those for these bad boys. Personally the sound is loud and the bass is not overbearing which I like. I would recommend these over several products including the PowerBeats 2. No connectivity issues, No distorted audio and the sound is great. Feels comfortable when in use and the attached removable shirt collar clip is the icing in the cake.

This is a great device. Mine came with Android 5.1 which isn't the newest Android Software however for the price and all it's features this phone is definitely worth every penny. The device is made well and pack with several security features that people usually have to download other apps to get. All the features inside the device are extremely useful. Something I would've wanted from this device is NFC but at this price it's not a big deal. I would recommend this device to someone who doesn't want to spend a lot on a high end device but don't want a cheap phone either. I own both the Motorola G 3rd Gen and this device. This device is way better then the Motorola G.

This is one of the best looking Android Wear devices. Although the band is a bit stiff and takes some getting use to the watch is solid. Battery life on the device is great for a smartwatch. I usually take my watch off the charger between 8a-10a and dock it at 10p with 75% of battery life remaining with an always on display. Keep in mind this number will vary to others depending on their settings. Overall I am pleased with the device.

I purchased this because I liked what the device had to offer over other combo modems. I wanted to be able to connect my tivo services over moca without using my Roamio as the bridge connection between the Roamio and the Tivo Mini's. This combo did that in a matter of minutes. The initial setup with TWC was a pain in the buttocks but after getting everything up and running things works as advertised. Through my provider I am currently utilizing the extreme plan which is 30mbps. I am getting those speeds and a little extra. I like having the ability to limit the range my wifi signal is broadcast. The settings for that feature range from 25% (lowest)-100% (highest) which is great for users who want to broadcast their signal in their home and want to limit the interference with other devices. This combo does choose the best frequency to help eliminate frequency issues. The only issue I've run across for some odd reason when streaming the roku stick Google Play Movies don't play as well. However If I were to use my chromecast everything plays perfect which leads me to believe this issues is more of a Roku Google Play Movies App issue. Otherwise everything works as advertised. FYI I recommend buying the protection plan. It's good for two years however if the modem fails within that time frame you can pick up another one or another brand w/o fronting any additional cash if it's within the price range. One last note as far as I am aware this is the only modem that has a moca connection built into the device.

I was so eager to purchase this watch and now that I have it I have mixed feelings. Overall the watch works as advertise however for the cost it does not feel nor look like a premium device. The watch reminds me of the $2.00 to $5.00 watches that I used to purchase from Walgreens as a small child. For some that's great while others may feel at the cost it should appear to be a premium watch. Overall my user experience with the device has been remarkable. This is no doubt one of the thinnest and lightweight smartwatches on the market. Pebble never seem to have issues with providing the correct functions of their watches which is why I choose them over another Android Wear device. I've owned every pebble with the exception of the Pebble Time (Square) which is why I choose to stick with a company who's only focus is watches.

A complete improvement over their past DVR's

Overall I am happy with the purchase of this device along with a mini which is a must have for Whole Home DVR. This device works as it should without the need of expensive extra equipment. I couldn't be more happier with the purchase set up was a breeze. What I hate is the expensive tivo service cost $14.99 a month $150.00 a year or $499.00 for lifetime which I recommend no one buys. The lifetime is for the lifetime of the device therefore if it only works 6 months and dies that's $500.00 you lose. Stick with the monthly or yearly it's a safer option in my opinion.

This is a smartwatch that puts the watch 1st and technology 2nd. I love the fact that the appeal of the watch is classy and well designed. I have always been a fan of Martian Watches however they were very expensive but they did a bit more (IE Dick Tracy watches). This watch is priced just right and for all it does I was shocked it was priced at a standard watch price.
I love the fact that others are unable to tell that it's a smartwatch and that t it has two batteries installed. The main battery controls the analog part and the smartwatch is controlled by a rechargeable battery. This makes sense to me considering if the smartwatch isn't charge the watch will still function as a standard watch. The company advertise the watch will last up to two years before the standard battery has to be changed and that the rechargeable battery last up to 3 years if charged correctly
I have three minor issues. 1st is the other advertised watchbands aren't available at this time however they will be within 3-4 weeks per Martian support. 2nd the elements (analog hands are hard hard to see at night even though they glow in the dark. 3rd depending on which Notifier you buy the firmware is different. Example I purchased two of these the white and red one. The white one's firmware is on 10.37 and the red one's firmware is on 10.4. I contacted the company regarding and was told there was not a difference between the two and that 10.4 was the newest.
Overall I am pleased with my purchase. I have tried using it with apps such as runkeeper only to find out it does not help track time nor does it have a timer installed, maybe a later update will implement the timer. Other than that this watch is solid. I am currently using the watch on a Global Moto G running Android 4.4.3.

I have been happy with the Martian Notifier for the most part. It really is helpful to receive notifications via discreet vibration and decide with a quick glance whether to pull out my phone or not. The design is simple and sporty albeit a bit thick ( one-half inch).
My issues are with poor documentation in the user guide and the android app as well as a few promised features which are missing or non-functional on my phone ( Samsung Galaxy SIII ). The watch's oled status bar is supposed to include local weather stats but does not for me.
The home tab on the android app is missing the watch battery status mentioned in the user guide. There is a watch battery status icon in the upper notification bar on my phone but it is completely out of sync with the icon on the watch.
The manual neglects to mention that after pressing the start button on the app to connect the watch you have to press the lower left button on the watch to connect or else wait forever.
The layout of the alerts tab on the android app is actually the one for ios. The description in the guide is wrong as well. Martian has informed me that that an earlier and incorrect version of the user guide was released and will be corrected. Bad Martians!
There is presently no way to exit the android app without going into settings, app manager and force-closing the app. Very annoying. Hopefully an update will arrive soon to sort all of these things out.

Regarding your review

Hello Scott75. I am writing to you to try to assist you with a couple of the issues you described above. 1st issue regarding the weather not being displayed on your watch. In order for this feature to work you have to have GPS enabled on your device. Once GPS is on enter the application scroll to the tab that reads Display. Inside this menu you should see two options one which reads World Clock and the other as Weather. Check off weather and you should be good to go. Once this is activated you should be able to press the lower left button and the weather should be the last thing that reads across the screen.
2nd issues regarding battery indicator. The indicator decreases in increments of 20%. Although your watch indicates it's decreasing the app recognizes it when its at that 20% mark which I understand your issue with that but I also understand why the company created the app the way it has. I'm not 100% sure but I'm guessing it's to help prevent excessive battery drainage as well as preventing the user from constantly worrying about charging the device.
The indicator at the top of the screen is set there to alert you that it's connected to a bluetooth device. Since smartwatches are designed to use less power than a pair of bluetooth headsets the bluetooth indicator on your phone does not light up. This indicator used by the app is there to help maintain connectivity. Most smartwatches have this feature including my Sony Smartwatch 2.
3rd issue the app is set up similar to IOS but there is some exceptions. I believe this was to keep the experience the same no matter what type of device a person is using rather it be Android as you and I or IOS for all the hardcore Apple based cliental. I don't have that issue with having to force close the app. This could be due to the Android version your device is running.

Hello Scott75 sorry for the delayed response. I like both my Martian and Smartwatch 2. The Smartwatch does have a few more features and works with fitness apps on Android compared to the Marian. The apps I'm speaking off consist of Runkeeper, Endomondo and other apps which makes it easier to track time and distance. Again you will have the indicator at the top of your screen when bluetooth is connected however once turned off you can swipe the indicator away. The Smartwatch also allows you to customize your watch faces and create your own. The Smartwatch is water resistance and can be used while showering w/o any issues. The only real drawback to the Smartwatch 2 is if you fail to charge it, you won't have a watch that'll display the time. Also the square shape makes it stand out so others will know you have a smartwatch.
Martian has it's ups and downs but I own two of these watches and I'm enjoying every moment with them. Also if you ever decide to go IOS the Smartwatch 2 won't work it's only Android compatible. Overall it's all about personal preference.

Please clarify
If I were to buy a TiVo Roamio can I get local broadcast programming by just having an Internet connection? The information is a bit confusing and don't want to end up buying TiVo then having to subscribe to a cable package too. I might as well just get cable tv.
Hello if you are just using the device for over the air recordings then this device is not for you. You will have to buy the Tivo OTA unit which is sold at Best Buy. Keep in mind you will still have a monthly service fee from Tivo of $14.99 unless you sign up for the year or lifetime. If you are looking to buy a Roamio that does both cable and OTA TV then the standard Roamio is what you need to buy.
