I've had quite of few different things to hold the GPS and I like this one the best by far. A few friends who've seen it also like it and said they want to get one for themself. The GPS snaps right on. It can sit on the dashboard or sometimes I put it on my console and it stays put. It can mold to any location and the rubber bottom keeps the GPS in place. It never falls off and easy to move it from place to place.
What's great about it: It sits great on the dashboard. It doesn't move and can mold to the shape of where ever you put it.
What's not so great: a little dumbersome to store. Not too bad, just a little bit because I keep the piece to hold the GPS in place.
Hit the road with this GPS that features a 5" widescreen touch-screen display that provides a clear view and preloaded base map coverage of the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico to help you arrive at your destination.
I do like the Garmin GPS. This is my 4th Garmin. One was stolen, one broke after a few years and the other one we still have in our other car. This one is the newest version and I like it very much. For some reason it turns off and then I can't get it to turn back on right away. I had returned one already thinking it was a defect but this new one does the same thing. I think the on/off button is very sensitive and then for some reason I sometimes can't get it to turn back on right away. It happened at a bad time when I was half way to my destination. I was able to back track to the leaving point by memory but I'm so used to depending on the GPS (maybe not a good thing) I was very upset and frustrated when I could not turn the system back on. A little while later my son turned it on and it seemed to be working fine. Now I'm more careful with the button.
What's great about it: I love the realistic picture of the exit signs. If there is doubt about which way to go, the arrow makes it clear.
What's not so great: The on/off switch is sensitive. It turns off and then doesn't turn back on again.
