Excellent Smart Color Thermostat from Honeywell !!

Installation is very simple. Documentation is very clear in printed format and video. If you face any issues, there is a toll free number to reach out for support.
This thermostat has lot of great features. It will show outside temperature based on zip code and controls to adjust room temperature. The numbers are very bold and bright to see it from long distance. The cool feature is you can adjust background colors to match themes and wall colors.
Android and iOS apps are very easy to navigate. Registration is required with email and you can monitor and change temperature remotely. It is working great with Amazon Echo and Google Home. I have tested the voice controls to adjust temperature and it worked flawlessly.
Honeywell is champion in building Smart Thermostats. This model RTH9585WF Honeywell - Smart Color Thermostat with Wi-Fi Connectivity is another great Smart Thermostat from them.

Installation was very easy for Chamberlain MyQ Smart Garage Hub. The directions are very simple to follow. Instructions are provided with very nice pictures that easily map out what to do with each step.
I have installed wifi hub on the ceiling next to the garage door. It is stated that the hub needs to be seen from the garage door. I placed my hub and senor directly across from one another, with the senor mounted on the top corner of the garage door and the hub next to the outlet on the ceiling that is shared with the garage door opener. It works great.
Once the unit is installed, the next step is to connect it to your home wifi. There is no issue with this and directions are pretty straight forward. It can send you an email, push alert, or both. Once everything is setup, the app works as expected. It allows you to open or close the door from anywhere with a cellular or wifi signal.
I have had it installed for few days now and I have tested it several times. It seems to work without any issues and very reliable. I would definitely recommend the MyQ Universal Smartphone Garage Door Controller to any friend or family member.

Shark is market leader in Upright vacuum and they entered into Robot vacuum market with Shark Ion Robot 750. It is my first robotic vacuum and a very good cleaning tool. Packing was excellent and setup is very easy with the instructions provided in the box. I have downloaded the Shark ION ROBOT app from App Store in my iPhone 7 plus and configured Ion Robot quickly to control remotely. The performance of this vacuum exceeded my expectations. Cleaning always painful as we were not able to reach many locations due to many furniture. ION Robot did a great job reaching out many places under the tables, SOFA and picked all debris without any issues.
It has great suction power and excellent battery life. With single charge, it was able to clean my entire living room. The docking charging station takes minimum space and it can be placed anywhere. Battery life is around 40 mins in this model, i hope Shark will increase the battery capacity in future models.
I really liked the feature of remote control which is great feature especially every house is moving towards home automation. Setup is extremely easy in app. Once connected, you can setup schedule cleanup and remotely access the device from anywhere.
I am really impressed with its performance, cleaning, design and cost. I would highly recommend Shark ION Robot 750 to anyone without any hesitation.

I have SONY-MDR 1000X and it is one of the best noise cancelling headphone with wired / wireless option. I was looking for a Ear-bud type noise cancelling wireless headset and got SONY WF-1000X.
Setup is very quick and easy. I was able to connect my iPhone 7 plus and S7 Edge phones without any issues using Bluetooth setup. SONY implemented lot of features from MDR 1000X into this nugget size headset. It came with two buds for left and right ear along with charging case. Ear buds sits perfectly in ear. Each bud has one button. The left ear takes of power, pairing and noise cancellation. The right ear controls music playback, call start/stop and your phone's smart assistant like Siri / Google assistant. There is no control to increase / decrease volume which can be done in phone.
The case is a small metal box and it is very sturdy. The bottom of the case has NFC chip for quick Bluetooth pairing with android devices. When you remove the buds from the case, it will automatically pair with last device. Each bud holds three hours of charge and case holds six hours of charge giving you a total of 9 hours listening. The case itself charged by USB - C.
The headphone connect app allows to prioritize sound quality or connection stability. It is very useful in network congested areas especially in office. It will address most of the connectivity issues. As for the noise cancelling, you can shut everything out, or allow little ambient noise, or just voices.
Adaptive sound control feature adjusts the intensity of noise cancellation based on staying, walking, running and transport. The app will provide EQ adjustment feature. Adaptive sound control really works and it will take around 30 seconds to calculate.
Hands-free calling works really well and sound clarity is outstanding. The noise cancellation is very effective. I tried in a noisy environment, i could barely hear the external noise. Audio performance is outstanding. SONY always a leader in clarity and detail and SONY WF-1000X is no exception on this. I listened songs more than 3 hours and this is going to be my go-to headset going forward due to size and clarity.
I strongly believe SONY took steps to get first place in Ear-Buds Noise Cancelling Headphones market. With SONY WF-1000X, they will achieve the same.

The Philips Norelco OneBlade Pro can be used in wet or dry conditions. The precision trimming comb is very easy to use and using turning dial you can set the length from 0.4 to 10mm. Battery life is good with 100 minute battery and it comes with a charging base. I was able to use it continuously 6 days without charge and still more than 85% charge left. Philips Norelco has quick charging technology and able to do full charge in less than 20 minutes. The battery life icon displayed in handle which is very helpful. The trimmer is water resistant and it can be used in the shower.
This is a great trimmer for home as well as travel use. It is very small to carry and can be used to trim beard, trim around ears. I was very impressed by Philips Norelco OneBlade Pro Wet/Dry trimmer and recommend to anyone without any hesitation.

This is a excellent food processor with auto spiralizer. It comes with two cup attachments, a blending blade, a dough mixing blade and two spiralizing blades.
This machine is great for all in one use. It is very powerful and easy to use. It is not too bulky and perfect fit in our kitchen without taking up too much space. It does not have a handle but it is easy to grip with one hand. We are no longer need to use the manual way of chopping vegetables as it is very convenient to do using this machine. It is very use to clean and dishwasher safe.
The blades are very sharp and it cuts with precision. It locked right in place and easy to switch out. We are using for chop, blend, spiralize and mix.
We are extremely happy with this food processor and hope that it will last for many years.

Merge Cube is cool innovative product. This little cube made out of foam turn into hologram if you download certain apps on your smartphone for games, puzzles and educational. Kids are really enjoying using this cube with phone apps.
Setup is very easy with instructions. Visit www.mergecube.com to find fun apps that transform the cube into holographic mode. I have downloaded few apps from app store, pointed the phone to cube and you can see holographic objects in your phone. Merge cube exceeded my expectation for its price and design.
Merge Cube is first holographic object you can hold in the palm of your hand. It is perfect gift for kids age of 10+ and It is much better option to give as gift for kids during holidays along with Merge VR google.

Acer Chromebook 15 comes with big screen with IPS display. The processor is lightning fast and it is pentium quad core processor N4200 and absolutely no lag with the 4 GB RAM version. It comes with 32GB SSD and supports 802.11 AC wireless, Bluetooth 4.0
The screen is big, nice and clear, bright, and vibrant IPS display. The keyboard is more natural feeling and the trackpad is bigger and very easier to use.
The speakers quality is great and the sound is better than any laptop to date. . It is louder and clearer. The Chrome software is running better than ever, and all apps are working fine. Charging time is super fast and reaching 50% power to 100% in less than an hour.
It is very lightweight and does not heat up even after continuous use. With full charge, i was able to use more than 10 hours which is huge bonus for power users.
The Full HD, 1920x1080, 15.6-inch Full HD IPS touch screen display is simply beautiful and colors are very natural and rich. I was able to view the screen from 180 degree angle and still able to read the words.

Excellent Mobile VR Headset!!!

I have been wanting to try out a virtual reality headset for a while now. After some research, I decided to try out these Merge VR. I must admit that they are really cool. Merge VR is very durable and made out of a soft foam that can stand up well for rough use / travel.
I have downloaded a couple of the apps in iPhone 7 Plus and was very impressed with clarity. For a mobile VR option, these are great especially for the price. They are really comfortable to wear with glasses which is a definite bonus. The lens adjustments are easy to use and the buttons on top are a cool feature. My kids are enjoying with Merge VR for educational, games and history areas of interest. Overall very intuitive and very easy to use.
We recently took it with us for Las Vegas trip and it kept the kids entertained throughout the trip. My kids tried with android phones and it worked without any issues. Overall, I am pleased with my Merge VR and it is really good for mobile VR. If you're looking for a VR headset that does not require a specific phone, I will definitely recommend this one.

I was looking for a cost effective projector for loft in my house with addition to Epson 5030UB in living room. I got Epson Home Cinema 760HD due to the fact that it has 3,300 lumens of color / white brightness and it will perfectly fit for my needs in a bright loft in second floor.
Packing was excellent and projector size is very small compared to 5030UB. Setup is very easy as always with Epson projectors. I have connected the HDMI with my receiver and played one movie from Netflix. I was stunned with the quality and color / white brightness of this projector. It is equally good as 1080P HD projector in terms of quality with less price.
This projector supports up to 300" and it will connect easily with Blu-ray, gaming or streaming devices via HDMI. I would suggest to connect with receiver as it has only one HDMI Input. There are other inputs like VGA, HDMI, USB and S-Video cable. It comes with built-in-speaker and dynamic contrast up to 15,000:1. It supports Vertical Keystone Auto +/- 30º and Horizontal Keystone Manual +/- 30º to place the projector virtually anywhere. It came with a remote to control the settings.
The resolution of this projector is 720p (1280x800) and picture quality is amazing. You will have a great home theater experience with this projector and not break the bank to make it happen.

I bought this router to replace my perfectly working Asus RT-66R model. I wanted to change my router just to get bit more range in my new 2200sqft home. Prior to getting this router I have tried one of the best range extender Ampedwireless AE-20. It’s range was excellent, but connection was very much degraded and struggled to get connected at times though it was set up to clone settings from original router.
So, after reading few positive reviews on BBY and mixed reviews on amazon, I decided to give new Nighthawk R8000 a try. I am happy with its slightly improved range than Asus and very much disappointed with its 2.4Ghz performance. I have more than 15 years of network experience and I really don’t bother tech support unless until it is really out of my hand and hardware specific.
Here I am trying to do a fair comparison with two routers I have (Asus & Netgear) + sign means “better” and – signs means “poor”
Wired Connection:

At this point I called customer service and it sounded like they kind of aware of the issue. With minimal trouble shooting and changing the channels to their recommended channels (01, 06, 09 & 11), there was no improvement. So they asked me to degrade from 600Mpbs to 289Mbps and it started working.
So technically now their claim of 3200Mbps became 2911Mbps.
Access Control:
+ RT-66R has fairly good access control capabilities. You can schedule what time of the day each device can access the internet. This feature is important for me as I found it is very useful with kids on top of parental control settings.

- R8000 access control only let you allow or deny connecting a particular device. You cannot decide what time it should be able to connect. – Major drawback for me.

- RT-66R has poor parental control settings, but with an option to point DNS to OpenDNS we can achieve better parental control settings with their FREE offerings.
+R8000 – also use OpenDNS but with dedicated service assigned to netgear so that you can add bypass account also which can’t be done with OpenDNS free account. This is the only additional benefit I found with this router so far compared to RT-66R.
VPN:
+ RT-66R is also able to use OpenVPN with mobile access with their free App. I was abe to access local network using iOS and Android devices with no issues.

CONCLUSION:
I have thoroughly tested all important feature that I need. Rest of the features are generic to me and I am not bothered much about them.
I am sure this router with Dual 5.0Ghz network will be very useful for those who have new wireless devices. For me I have a lot of devices that depends on 2.4Ghz frequency such as smoke detectors, thermostat, laptop that connects to NAS for backup etc. and degraded and unreliable 2.4Ghz network make it absolutely worthless considering the amount I spent on this router.
I am seriously thinking to take this back to the store. I don’t see any point in spending almost double amount of money to get a couple of benefits and a lot of drawbacks and pay for a premium to get their phone support if needed to an overpriced product.
I would not recommend this router at its current price and it is unable to meet its original claims and comes with a premium phone support after 90 days.

Please reach out to Netgear Support. I had similar issue in my home (2800 square feet) during the setup and Support asked me to change settings in Router page and now i am getting superior coverage in 2.4 and 5 Ghz for all 17 connected devices.

There are not much Android tablets with premium specs in the market compare to Apple iPad, but Samsung is not ready to give up the fight with the release of high-end Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 with significantly updated specs, HDR screen and improved S Pen support. It is equally positioned with iPad Pro.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 screen has a 9.7-inch 1536 x 2048 Super AMOLED display with support of HDR content and it matches the iPad Pro 9.7 in size and resolution. Samsung Tab S3's screen size and resolution have not changed with pixel density of 264 pixels per inch. It has Super AMOLED display, for brighter, richer colors. The main upgrade over the Tab S2 is HDR content support. There is not a huge amount of HDR content yet, but once there is this it will be really helpful with Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. Another big change for this model is that there's no 8.0-inch option, Tab S3 only coming in a 9.7-inch size.
Tab S3 has metal and glass build with similar size to Tab S2. Samsung upgraded the design for the Galaxy Tab S3, replacing the soft plastic back of the Tab S2 with a glass one, but retaining the metal frame. The overall appearance like an oversized Samsung Galaxy S7.
While cameras are never the highlight of a tablet, Samsung Tab S3 came with 13MP back side camera and 5MP front facing camera with LED flash. It does include an autofocus and can record 4K video at 30fps.Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 came with 6,000mAh one and it can last up to 12 hours of video playback. I have used more than 10 hours without any issues. It supports fast charging via USB Type-C, so you shouldn't be waiting too long.
Tab S3 runs the latest major version of Android 7.0 overlaid with Samsung's own interface. It came with quad-core Snapdragon 820 chipset and 4GB of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 only comes in one size - 32GB, but it also has a microSD card slot with support for cards of up to 256GB if you need more storage for apps and games.

It is one of the best android tablet with premium features and equally matching iPad Pro. It worked really well with Samsung Book Cover Keyboard for accurate and comfort typing.

Hi Malack,
Apps can be downloaded from Google Play or Samsung Store. If you are looking for side loading apps from 3rd party, you can do that as well. It is similar like S2 with upgraded features.

I currently have the Netgear NightHawk router. Will this be better than that, and should I get rid of that one?
Yes. It is much better than X6 or X8. I am getting 300+ mbps in all over the places in my house.

Can you use with comcast.
Yes. It will work with any ISPs. You just need to connect router with your modem and during setup it will identify the satellite as well.
