Ok headset, does not output enough sound

I have owned numerous headphones in my life, and I hoped these would be something special. They are not, they do not output enough sound either on my PC, or PS4. I bought the adapter to work with my PS4 controller, and the sound is laughable. I may have received a bad set, but overall, these are not worth the price, nor do they perform like top tier headphones. Pass.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wish I would have done my research, and I did not. I apologize for not doing so, because after getting an amp, these headphones are pretty insane. Great build quality, amazing sound, and great price.
