The reason I chose this TV is because I've had a Vizio that cost about 500$ since 2009. Going on 7 years soon and it's incredible. So I don't just put faith in a name, processing picture engine, or refresh rates. I go with what I like, and this is what I chose. Also because of the price, no offense to hardcore TV folks, but paying thousands of dollars on a new 4k is just insane. You could get a nice used car for the price of some of these suckers.
It's just a TV, they all have a picture, sound, color and most people use them for movies, TV, and some gaming. Period. I always (usually) go with what every one else DOESN'T have. I've found that many of these brands, that have been around for years, still make great quality stuff. Time will tell as far as reliability goes. But I will say I tried two Sony's, had great colors, contrast, darks, but horrible viewing angles. And one had a green line running down the center of the screen. The second had one bad HDMI port. And there were only 2. Samsungs "craftsman" ship is the pits. It has a good picture, but it's nothing special compared to this. And they are overpriced imo. LG seems good and good quality, but just doesn't interest me. Vizio, well I've already owned one and it's been great. I read the reviews and for the size and price, you can't beat this.
Sadly Toshiba has went the way of the DOE DOE with it's last stand of a TV for 299$. So I chose not to go that route since it was a black friday deal. And their track record is horrible, and they use to be great. Also they stopped producing TV's all together.
So not to sound long winded, but this has a great picture. No fancy Trumotion, Xmotion, Motionplus, yada yada. Just a good 1080p TV that does what it's suppose to. With very "natural" colors, that don't look computerized or overly processed like more expensive sets. Which is what I want. I don't like watching orange faces, or playing games that look like they are moving excessively fast. It's nauseating. Especially for a TV this size. I've played a few PS4 games, great. Two movies so far, great. I don't use cable since it's worthless (to me). I just use Netflix, and movies I've downloaded. And listen to music through it as well, with my 560w sound system. All I need. So happy camper here, and I didn't spend nearly a grand on it to be happy. So enjoy. Yes it's worth it, something goes wrong. It has a warranty, just like all the others (wink)

Asus is a great company, and make a lot of great gaming pc's, so their budget stuff (for the most part) isn't all that bad. Also ASUS make their own motherboards, gpu's, HDD's, RAM etc. And also manufacture those parts for other companies pc's as well. This is a great deal for the price, the computer runs very smoothly. With another upgrade of 4 gigs of RAM, I'm sure it would run even smoother. But I really don't need it. Plus upgrading (now) is a hassle since you have to dismantle the entire computer just to do it.
The build quality it pretty good, although it still has that budget feel. It looks more expensive than it is, and has a very nice silver (macbook) appearance to it. Also I like the top with the circular brushed metal feel/look and the logo. Very appealing. The keyboard is good, not great. A little unresponsive or it takes a little more "push: to get your keystrokes to respond. Not a huge deal, but enough you may notice if you type fast like myself. The screen is nice and bright and the viewing angles are good as well. The I3 processor is really good, especially for only 329$ + tax.
Speakers are nice and loud, and also have quite a bit of bass to them, only they are underneath. So depending on how the computer is sitting depends on how loud the sound is. Battery life is ok, around 6 hours or less. The only real problem I have is that the heat sink/exhaust fans are oddly placed in the back of the computer, behind the one giant long hinge. You don't fell much heat escaping, but it's pretty loud. And sometimes idles even louder while doing the smallest of tasks. But oh well. It's still a great deal, and Asus is extremely reliable.
So even for some video editing, music, movies etc. This is a great deal. Mainly because of the 5th gen I3, which is a lot more at other stores. Usually 500$ of more in some places. So if your in the market for something cheap/fast with a great processor and overall good build. Get this one. Just don't be thrown off by the noisy hollow keyboard, when you type. It's still great.

Excellent, i remember when Lenovo were a little less than impressive, but being that they bought out IBM, finally. All that has changed for the better. I mean what better way to make PC's and continue the legacy, than from the inventors of computers themselves. I like these a lot better also since they have dropped the IBM Logo, and the red (nipple, cursor) that use to plaque the middle of the keyboard. Which while I'm typing this review on it, I should say is very good. The top of the keys are concave which takes a little while to get use to (being that I'm use to using HP). But so far so good. I got an extra stick of 4gb RAM for this PC and now it flies. Remember when you upgrade to check the speed, this uses the newer 12,800-1600mhz speed. If you get anything less you may notice a slight drop in performance.
This is a good processor as anything I3, I5 and I7 are great. When you go for Pentiums or Celerons you get what you pay for. Sure they are good for basic things, but nowhere near the I series. And it shows. I will also say these processors can be found for a great price if you look around hard enough. And steer clear of AMD, they run to hot and don't hold a candle (anymore) to Intel. The screen looks good, although again I'm use to the big ole 17.3 inch screen. Something I'll just have to adapt to. This unit I found at Best Buy (yeah sorry Amazon), for 309$ plus tax. Clearance. Mainly because it's preloaded with Windows 8.1 which is fine with me. Windows 10 at the moment is an abomination, and riddled with issues. Just look at some of the reviews on it, especially the upgrade thumb drive options. So not thanks MS.
So I booted this up, keys are great, screen is good, HAS bluetooth, which some more expensive units don't even provide. Good solid build, not necessarily an eye catching laptop, just plain black, but I didn't get it for people to gawk over. Battery life leaves a little to be desired, clocking in at around 4 hrs or so, which I guess isn't to bad. And another thing that's great is you CAN upgrade anything. Still has the separate battery, and the back panel comes off. So no taking apart the whole pc, to get to what you need. Which is the way it is now with 90% of new laptops. So kudos to Lenovo for still being one of the top brands out there. And underrated because everyone wants the big brand names, everyone else gets. I've also liked Acer for years, but they don't sell much these days. Sadly. HP, Toshiba, and Dell are pretty much overrated IMO. And Macboooks, well cost about as much as an old used car. So pass on that. Anyway, this is a great laptop for a great price. So enjoy. I'm loving it thus far (20 year computer technician here).
BTW-unlike most this has a touchpad OFF button, which you will definitely need when typing. Also the trackpad click buttons seem generic, but really aren't. They are made to go down into the computer, or appear that way. Makes for little to no noise. This is NOT a defect.

HP Pavilion Laptop: With its 1TB hard drive, this 17.3" laptop offers plenty of space to house important documents and your growing movie collection. Plus, you can easily connect to your HDTV using the HDMI output.

I was never really an HP fan, but found a good deal on one last year, with a 3rd gen I3, 17.3 inch screen, for 329$. Well a few keys stopped working intermittently after about a month or two. Even though the keyboard is better on this unit, it's still a concern. But for the price, the specs are very good. I'll just go by pros and cons, since it's not a whole lot different than the one I had before.
PROS
* Built Quality is good, as with most HP's, keys do feel a little cheap as others have said. Less chicklet like, which i prefer. If pushed hard enough I think they would go down into the laptop itself.

* Sound is adequate, ,about the same as my other laptop. You're not going to be blown away by any laptop speakers. But they do put out good sound if you use Media Player. With the Groove Music app, not so much.
* Very bright screen, almost too bright. But that's ok, very good viewing angles as well.
* I5 is good, and it's a fifth gen, even though my I3 seems(ed) faster, with just browsing. Has a lot of power for video converting, editing etc. Also boots up pretty fast. Again WIndows 10 is still buggy, and takes up a lot of memory, compared to 8.1, which most don't know.
CONS
* Track Pad is decent but feels very cheap, I would much rather have two separate right and left mouse click buttons. Also the whole pad clicks if you push in the middle. And it's also not the most responsive when just lightly tapped.

* Hard Drive is terribly loud, and runs about 80% of the time, but overall the rest of the laptop is quiet. And Laptops this big don't run hot at all. Which is another plus.
* No Bluetooth which seems to be common in nearly every HP I've come across. Not sure why they choose not to include this, but I would rather have it, then not.
* Wireless Adapter isn't the best, doesn't disconnect, but hangs up to five seconds or more on certain sites. Or you just have to reload it. Could be a drive problem, which I could update. I have 50mb with 150mb Blast, so it's certainly NOT my internet. And I've worked on computers for nearly 20 years. So I think I would probably know.
So overall it's a good laptop for the money, yet still considered a budget PC. Even though 500$ is a lot of money these days. Years ago this would have been more like 900$. So i guess I can't complain (to much). The size helps with not hitting the trackpad when typing, since it doesn't have an off button. Backlit keyboard would have been nice as well. SAMS actually has this same laptop (design), with the same HDD, and Processor. But 8 gigs of RAM, backlit keyboard, and bluetooth. But it's nearly 700$. So I guess saving money is a good thing.
I would recommend this to someone who likes a big screen laptop, Or for someone who wants desktop replacement. Which most people don't even use anymore, alongwith good build quality. Much better than Asus IMO. One was sitting next to this with similar specs, same large screen. Which is very cheaply made, for this price range. So let's hope the Windows 10 updates don't mess anything up on this one.Like it does with so many other laptop brands today. If so, I'll just go back to my old one and spend about 250$ to get the keyboard replaced. And keep Windows 8.1. Here's hoping.

This game will be great just like the 2013 version on Xbox 360. I never liked the DE version for Xbox One, but it was great for PS4. Not a fan boy, but I give credit to Nixxes for bringing this game/a good swansong adios to the ole 360. Good send off game. Screenshots don't look much different, and I think paying 50$ for a game on 360 is a lot better than sinking 349 to 399$ for an Xbox One to play it on. I'll be getting this, UC Collection, UC4 next year, then probably this game again when it hits PS4. The smart thing to do IMO. :) Sorry MS, I like your last gen console better.

I had a Kyocera Edge for over a year and enjoyed the life out of it. Put in water last time this year to woo people, who didn't believe it was fully capable of be submerged. A simple glass of water with music playing will do!! This phone is a bigger better, and faster version of the edge. Very well built, seems bulky, but it's because of the great construction. For instance the Samsung Galaxy, and Iphone 6 are like a wheat thin compared to this. It's like a patio brick, very sturdy and actually has military grade specs. Even though I won't be going to war with it, it's still great here in WV were we have all seasons. Especially in the nasty winter. Even though I'm not accident "prone" I prefer it.
The specs are good for a phone in this price range ,and boost it "good" in this area, not great. No 4G unfortunately, but it's there if I go to a big city, with the LTE included. In the house, download is up to 7mb a second using my 50mb Comcast connection, but I rarely use that. Netflix works great, and the speaker is actually TO loud, and has a lot of bass. Sounds good especially for music. App's come up ultra fast, mainly because of the snapdragon qualcomm Cortex A7 processor. And the unusual 1.5gb of RAM. Which is usually only one. Especially for cheaper phones.
The only gripe is the voice quality, many people can hear me just fine, but they seem to sound almost "robotic", but I can still deal with it. The Hyrdo Edge's reception was a little better I must say. And with my MSync in the care you really have to crank up the volume to hear people through the speakers. But hey, it works well enough for all you get here. Especially since it's waterproof, shock resistant, and built like a tank.
The main reason for people problems with the phone in the "bad reviews" is because of software issues, not hardware. The phone had to have an update when released because of a bad echoing problem with voice calls, but has since been fixed. Also ALL non contract phones have freezing, crashing, and small quirks, no matter what kind you get. That's just how their services work. And the phones are made for that specific carrier. So sorry for being long winded, but I'll end by saying this phone is great. And not soon to be obsolete, since it was just released back in June I believe. Kyocera are some of the godfathers of cell phones (via 90's), next to Nokia and Motorola. So no worries here. If so, Boost will replace it pretty simply. Thus far mine is super fast, and just great overall. Thanks.

First off i should say, at this point in time forget next gen, PS3 AND 360 are really still showing they have some good life in them after all. So PS4, and Xbox One have a few more polygons, textures, details etc (whoopi). This game is great, but I... like many people at first didn't feel that way initially. I actually had some trepidation at first about the small download size on PSN, and pretty much thought the game would just look and play horribly. I'm glad that I was wrong. It's no mystery how the game starts unless you've been living in a cave since last year, and haven't seen a single gameplay video. But actually playing it instead of seeing it played is another story. Would I say this is "as" exciting as the first time I played RE4, well in some ways yes, and some no.
The game definitely has all the feel of the RE series and the atmosphere, tension and graphics are all top notch. Speaking of graphics, I can't believe that a 6.6gig file can put out details like they did with this. I usually go for 3rd party titles on 360 or my gaming PC, but decided to give it a go since I already had 20bucks on PSNm and it was only 53.99 for PS Plus Members. To my great surprise the graphics are staggering, very little jagged edges, VERY good attention to detail, VERY few washed out areas, or glitches. Just an occasional clip now and then. As for gameplay, while the Dualshock PS controller has never been my favorite (I favor 360), it does have a good solid feel when moving, and using both analog sticks to aim, look around etc. So I was again, pleasantly surprised. Although that is the only reason for "technically" a 4.5 rating. I still just don't really "like" the controller, but hey it works.
There is really no need to go into the story line, other than demonic forces overpowering the weak (most know this), and dominating the earth. So the story is nothing special. What is special is the "survival horror" aspects of the game, you really ARE fighting to stay alive, and you don't feel macho, or like you over power any of your enemies. You feel like you either need to hide from them, sneak up on them , go around, or face them head on. And all of these qualities work with TEW. I actually do like the stealth of sneaking up on a zombie/demon and stabbing them in the head with a knife. And burning the body (if you choose) is also a new interesting feature I have not seen in games. So I'm just heading into chapter 3, but felt so good about the game as a whole I don't need to finish it, to know I'm going to have a blast going through all 24 levels or so. However many there are. I just know reviewers have said it's 20+ hours. So that works for me, and I'll be working on it for a while.
So good controls (even though I prefer the other), GREAT graphics for last gen, steady gameplay, good pacing, and great atmosphere make The Evil Within a winner in my game library. I also must mention I got it for PC to see how much hype there is behind the great graphics, and if they could get a LOT better. My conclusion is, not really. I mean yes the PC is vastly superior, but the controls for these 3rd person types of games, aren't really best suited for PC. Also there aren't that many "tweaks" to adjust graphical setting on the PC version. And all the consoles, and PC are locked at 30 frames per second. Which I could care less, as long as the game is good. So yes PC does look stunning and it's some of the best graphics I've seen to date, even though it doesn't demand a really "high end" graphics card. Don't be mislead by the specs posted on various sites, if you do want the PC version. But I really like this on console, and my 55 inch Samsung LED. And with PS4 and Xbone, I'm sure it looks better, but nothing jaw dropping I'm sure. That won't happen for a while, which is why I haven't made the jump yet. So get this for 360 or PS3, you definitely will NOT be disappointed. I know if I woke up with my head sewn to the carpet tomorrow morning I wouldn't/couldn't be more surprised than I am right now (courtesy of Chevy Chase). So back to the game, enjoy!!. Later

Great computer,, beats the competition hands down. I bought the Asus for 229$ on sale they had at first, and believe me you DO get what you pay for. Cheap, lousy keys, ethernet port went bad, slow, fan wouldn't work, would idle hot, and the list goes on. So word to the wise, DON'T purchase that laptop. Spend the extra money on this. You get a much faster (better) processor, even though it's a 3rd Generation, really no difference. Don't even bother with the Dual Core Celerons by the way.
Big screen, which is becoming scarce today, it is bulky, but it stays very very cool, and isn't really all that heavy. DVD Burner's are also going the way of the doe doe it seems, very convenient here. Lots of programs you can actually "use". Also this I3 is clocked at 2.6ghz, and has 2 psychical cores, and 2 virtual. So it's nearly as fast as my Core 2 Quad 9400 on my gaming Desktop. So runs really smooth with no lag. Is shiny black on the interior but really doesn't show fingerprints, also the nice silky silver finish on the sides and top also don't show any prints. So overall for the money, "got it when it was on sale for $329, now it's $399, which is still a great price. As I said my only gripe is the speakers aren't quite loud enough, especially for music. A little louder for movies it seems. Not bad, but you have to crank them all the way up to really utilize them well. Also a lot more ports than most computers in this price range, and it's built very solid, good materials, doesn't feel cheap at all. So kudos HP for a great budget laptop, with a large screen.
Btw, I understand every company makes their own "cheap" computers, but the Asus and Toshiba budget laptops are just riddled with problems. People write reviews way to soon, praising them, give them another month. You'll see why you should have spent the extra money. Get this one, it's certainly worth it, and then some.
What's great about it: I3 processor, fast, big screen, solid build, lots of ports, DVD burner
What's not so great: Speakers could be a bit louder

Asus X551MAV-RCLN06 Laptop: This lightweight laptop is ideal for home, office and student use. It is portable and offers plenty of available space to store photos, music and videos and enough RAM for multitasking.

I've been an Acer fan for a long time, but had Asus parts when building laptops. I like Asus because they use all of their own parts, motherboard, RAM, DVD Burner etc. They are also right next to Macbooks when it comes to reliability scores. This laptop is great for all your basic needs, it's no I7 or even Pentium Dual Core, but it does the job. The Celeron Dual-Core processors are just above the Atom's which were used in many Netbooks. But a bit faster clock speeds. It's great for web browsing, Office, HD Videos, Music (speakers are very loud), great for the price.
Also the Celeron does an excellent job at power consumption, runs quiet and the battery (which is built in) gets up to 4hrs, depending on what you're doing and your screen brightness. Speaking of that, the screen is just the right brightness, and has excellent clarity. A few drawbacks, as even with expensive laptops are that most today are made with very cheap plastics. But then again they can take a beating, because lets face it, none are made of steal. So typing feels cheap, and when doing so you can feel the hollowed body of the unit. Not really a huge deal. The mouse is smooth to touch, a little crazy sometimes, and the mouse buttons themselves take some getting use too. I should also mention you get a full number keypad, and it doesn't run hot, you can barely even hear it running.
So if you want the best price that beats Chromebooks, and you get a full laptop (DVD-Burner, which is becoming rare), you can't beat this deal. Toshiba has fallen, and HP, well IMO is just junk, and has a horrible track record. So while this is no Macbook or even a high end laptop, it gets the job done. Maybe a little slower, but for a cheaper price than a new cell phone!!!! Great wireless as well I must say. I should have bought 2. Perhaps?
What's great about it: Light, Great Speakers, Good Display, Stays Cool, Runs Smooth
What's not so great: Feels Cheap, Touch Pad is Good But Quirky, Needs 1 more USB

First off this is a budget phone, I own a Kyocera Hydro Edge and it's been great, it's waterproof in up to 3.5 feet of water for 30 minutes. Very tough if you drop it, gorilla glass etc. I thought I would try this out, but didn't dare deactivate my phone to try it. After getting a new number, and making comparisons, I realized this phone just isn't that much different than the Kyocera, also it's NOT waterproof. Same loud speakers, same speed even though mine is a dual core, and this is a quad core. So I really was not impressed with it by comparison at all. Many people complain about the Kyocera issues, but i've had 0. This Motorola is a "nice" phone but just unecessary for me. The biggest problem is that there is no SD card, it's just 8 gigs of internal memory. Which is great until your phone crashes or you have to reboot your phone (which happens a lot), to original factory condition. Then unless you back up (good luck) all your information, contacts, pictures etc are gone for good. Mine is expandable up to 32gb, and I bought a card today. So no worries here. So don't let the specs fool you, it has good service, but the 3G is still mediocre at best. Also the Quad Core is exactly the same speed as the dual core, so don't be fooled. Read many reviews on website and the pros all have he same thing to say. It's still a basic phone. Mine is nothing special but you can't drown it, and it's just as fast, great call quality, same cam, but expandable.
What's great about it: Loud Speakerphone, compact, decent speed, decent screen
What's not so great: Wireless signal, NO expandable memory, slower than most
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was in the market of upgradeing my PSU and find this, "ThemalTake TR2 600w". The price was good and I take the change of getting unit seeing not many people recommend thermaltake. when i install into my pc, which is easy and turn on my computer and it's run cooler and quite. one thing that I hepe is the it's last long as my old cooler master 500 watt power supply.

I like this power supply too. However power supplies do not help cool your PC. They keep your graphics card from bottle necking, along with your PC motherboard, and makes heavy work loads easier. Also it does NOT make your computer run faster as people state. That's all just psychological. A power supply does simply what it states, gives you more power for your system to feed off of. And some run more efficiently. Even if it is more wattage. Get liquid cooling from your store if you want cooler temps. :o)

I traded in my Xbox 360 and I bought the Xbox One. The graphics on the Xbox One are amazing! The new interface on the Xbox One is much harder to get used to, however, since it is similar to Windows 8. I would caution everyone about needing more hard drive space soon after purchase. Even if you buy the retail disc for a game, it installs on the hard drive. Many games have huge installs (like 50GB) and then big update files. It won't take long before I have to buy an external hard drive, because I will run out of space. Also, for anyone who has slow internet or an internet data cap, if you buy a console bundle like I did that came with free games that you only get an online code for (no physical disc), I found a quick way to install them. Through searching the Internet I learned that you can borrow someone's physical disc or borrow it from a local library, turn your internet off, install the game from the disc, and then turn your internet back on. When you remove the disc to play the game, it will ask you if you own the game, and you can put in the online code for the game that came with your console. That way you don't have to download a huge install file. I tried this with Black Flag, which came with my console, and it worked. It saved me days of downloading the file. This only works if you have an online code for the game; you cannot play the game after you remove the disc if you don't have the code.

Get a 1TB or 500GB External HDD. Under apps search/ look for Media Player Preview. Xbox One now recognizes NTFS format HDD's. You can play your music, MP4, wmv, AVI movies formats etc. Also if you want you can format it to downoad your digital games onto. I have an extra 1TB for mine. Words GREAT!!

I purchased this flash drive because I needed to move several large files to and from several computers at work. I have an external hard drive but it is for my personal computer files and I didn't want to have to take it to work.
So on Easter Sunday when I saw this flash drive was on sale, I thought it would be the perfect solution. However, when I took it to work and attempted to add files to the flash drive I got an error message informing me that the disk was full. But there was nothing on it...
I did some internet research about this issue and found that this was a common problem. One site recommended formatting the flash drive so I tried it and was able to save my information.
Then I took the flash drive to another computer to print out the saved data and was unable to open my saved files.
This product is not dependable at all and I returned it.

You can get a 500gb or 1tb for close to this price. I have 4 32gig Flash Drives with all my music, for barely 50bucks. They work great on my MSynce in my Escape, I don't like having it all on one drive anyway. To hard to scan through all of the titles. People are to lazy just to switch from one to another I think. pfft.

You can't format these hard drives to use anything but Windows 8. The system BIOS won't let you, now in some cases if you have windows 8 Pro you can (although rarely successful without driver issues). But especially with BB computers it can't be done. Don't listen to this person, Windows 8 is fine, uses less memory and comes up a lot faster than 7. Which was fine for it's time. You don't have to use tabs, just go straight to your desktop and use it like 7. Just without a start button. Also with Windows 8 it's nearly impossible to get a virus, with all the updates available.

I bought this the day it came out online, it was 849 but i was a little skeptical because it was a brand new item, was $200 off, and their was very little info on it on the web, but for the price point this seemed like a steal, and it was.
My experience with it so far is great, the feel of the computer is great, i mainly play LoL and the only issue i encountered was that i was by default using the integrated graphics from the processor instead of the video card, it was fine since League isnt a hungry game, but when i had the laptop unplugged the frames would drop from 100+ to 30 flat, after adjusting it so it uses the actual 960 v-card, i get 200+ frames. This laptop wont run new gen games at max settings, but consoles dont either. Its possible to get 60+ fps on new gen games with some tweaking on game settings.Havent had any heating issues either.
My main con on the laptop is the 5400 rpm hard drive, i was so use to the ssd on my smaller laptop, but to be completely honest i dont think its a deal breaker, but if you really want an ssd you can upgrade this laptop by replacing the HDD.
The 8gb of ram is more than fine for me at the moment, but it is expandable upto 16gb. The screen is a a matte finish, which is kinda expected off a gaming laptop
To conclude, if youre looking for a casual gaming laptop, and know how to upgrade this is an awesome buy, but if its not on sale id suggest looking at the MSI GE62 APACHE-276 , normal price for it is 999.99 but you get a 5th gen i7 quad, 12gb ram, same gpu 960 (2gb of vram) and a 7200 rpm HDD.

Even on high setting it runs battlefront at over 40fps FULL 1080p, Just Cause 3 Full 1080p near 40, at 900p over 70fps. That's way beyond Next Gen. HA At nearly 800p it also runs Fallout 4 at 57fps, that's just amazing. Especially for the price. Check out many other games here.

The Toshiba 49 is beyond my expectations. This is the 3rd TV I purchased in the last few days to replace my dead Samsung 40 LCD.
1. Samsung UN48J5200-- Terrible sound quality.
2. Sony KDL48W600B-- Poor picture and worse sound than the Samsung.
The Toshiba out performs both of these in picture quality and the TV actually has decent sound, so no sound bar is needed. This is a bedroom TV, so it was critical to not need a secondary sound system. The Toshiba does not sound tinny and hollow like the other 2, and actually has some bass. I still would not call the sound rich, but it is not painful to listen to at low volumes like the disappointing Samsung and Sony.
The picture quality is good, dramatically better than the Sony and close to the Samsung and the TV costs $150.00 less.
Great job Toshiba on making a quality product at a fair price!

Sorry but you must not have had your Sony or Samsung calibrated right for optimum picture quality. There is not way a budget TV at this price can come close to those to brands especially when it comes to that and reliability. Give it another month and I assure you it will be problematic. Toshiba use to be great, they have went clear to the bottom as of the lasts 7 years or so. Try Sharp, it's even better than this one. My parents tried to of these one had faulty HDMI ports, the other had the most horrendous picture I've ever seen on any HDTV, period. And that was running through a ROKU on Netflix. Sorry not trying to sound like a bad guy, but your review is very misleading.

No the AMD series even though semi-speedy are no I5 or even i7, which is what you'll definitely need. Spend a little more and get one of those. If you notice all AMD series processors are very cheap in PC's. That's why. Also some are just to slow to even use for everyday tasks.

Nah pay like another 10 bucks and get a full 500gb HDD or 1 tb for a little more. These things aren't worth it, small yes, but I prefer the HDD's. Especially for the price!!
