Works right out of the box

I have had this printer for just 3 days now. It was easy to set up right out of the box, though there was no manual and I was guided through an online video instruction sequence. I missed the last part about whether or not I could disconnect the USB cable, but had no way of going back to find out what I missed. It turns out that you need the usb cable to download software into the printer, but after that it operates off wifi from any computer in the house through a browser based program on the internet. Not everything is explained very well and it took some time to figure out how to do things, like selecting a file to print, how to upload ones own file, etc. Bottom line however, is that I printed a dog tag only an hour after unboxing the unit. I have printed three things now with increasing complexity. The printing is slow and if a lot of support struts were required, it takes some time to clean up the product. I only had one failed print job, but it was easy to start over. Overall, for 300$ I must say that this is an impressive printer. I am using it to print 3D models of biological molecules like proteins and DNA, and am enthralled with the 3D objects created. Time will tell how robust this printer is, considering 2" diameter by 1" tall complex spiral DNA molecule took 6 hours to print (shown below after much filing to remove struts). Question is, how many prints before it fails. The warranty is only 90 days, and Best Buy did not offer an extended warranty. I am hoping for the best.

How many cameras do you need?1-3
I bought this on a whim, and found it very easy to install on my local area network that is serviced by a router and two wireless access points. The app for viewing on an iphone is free and can be used anywhere in the house, and hopefully from remote locations. The picture is pretty good at 640x400, but some depending on the lighting some parts can get washed out and others are dark. It also works well in the dark. The initial problem was that the IP address for the camera would always change because I have a DHCP serve that automatically assigns an address and changes it every so often. It took me many hours to figure out how to assign a static (fixed) IP address so that I would not have to configure the camera everytime I used it. The other problem was with the sound when trying to use the microphone. There was feedback that caused whatever I would say to repeat endlessly until I turned the microphone off. Haven't tried the record feature. Other than that it serves its purpose quite well and I will probably get another.
What's great about it: It has a pan and tilt and can be observed on a iphone
