Portable cooling and heating

The Torras Coolify can help you stay a little more comfortable on those cold and hot days! This is my first experience with this type of device and must say it’s pretty impressive. The device comes with a USB-C charge cable and a nice robust carrying case with a loop to carry it. The device itself weighs just over a pound and feels really solid and well made.
Operating the device you have two buttons on the bottom to turn it on and off and one to change the modes . On each side you have small display screens that show the battery life on one and fan speed/temp on the other. Connecting the device with the app and controlling it thru your phone though is the best way to use it. With the app, it allows more control of the device and more speed settings. When controlling the fan speed with the buttons on the device, you have 30,60 or 100. When using the app you can adjust it in increments of 10 from 0 to 100. You also have the ability to have different zones on instead of all and you also could have heating on the back and cooling on the side and vice verse if you so desire.
When I initially got the device I thought it only did cooling, I was surprised to see it did heating also. When using the heating function it doesn’t use the fans it only uses the heating elements on the area that touches your neck. Using it for a 2 mile walk on breezy day in the low 50s, the device took that little bit of chill off that I would normally have had without. Battery life is pretty impressive also as for my 2 mile walk, it only dropped 20% when using the heating function at 40%. Using the cooling function you get cool and fan, cool doesn’t blow ice cold air, but I can see it definitely making grass cutting and other outdoor chores a little more bearable this summer. If you’re looking for something that will keep you a little more cool in the summer or warm in the winter the Coolify can do just that.

Great budget friendly headset

My girlfriend is a realtor and works from home, so she unfortunately has to be on the phone with clients constantly. She hates earbuds and doesn’t like heavy headphones so something lightweight for her is a must. The Logitech Zone 300 fits that bill perfectly as they offer a compact and lightweight design that’s unobtrusive and comfortable with all day battery life and quick charge capabilities.
The headset itself has nice premium feel to it, even though it’s very lightweight. I like the fact the headset has actually physical buttons instead of touch sensitive ones. This just makes it easier when using them for work. The boom mic has a satisfying feel to it and a flip to mute function that the headset announces when it’s muted or unmuted. Call quality on both ends was excellent and the noise canceling mic helps quite down things on your side. Besides call quality, I was pleasantly surprised at the sound quality when using them for music, though they won’t be used for that they sound good if you do. If you need an inexpensive and lightweight headset for work and a little play, the Zone 300 are a great option.

Having long used the Apple Pencil now with the second generation, I’m happy to see an alternative. The Insignia active stylus is all but identical to the Apple Pencil with only the USB-C charge port giving away its origins. That port is how you charge it as it doesn’t magnetically charge like the Apple Pencil. The stylus comes with a charge cable and an extra replacement tip. Using the stylus, it has all the same functionality with the exception of how you turn it on. Unlike the Apple Pencil that is automatically connected when you pull it off the iPad, the Insignia stylus requires a double tap on top to turn it on. Once turned on, it has white led to let you know it’s on. Another difference with the Insignia stylus is you can’t see the battery charge state in the iPad Notification Center. For the difference in price these minor differences are well worth it. The Insignia active stylus gives you all the functionality the Apple Pencil has for less than half. If you want a stylus for your iPad but don’t want to pay the Apple tax, Insignia has you covered.

Deep blacks and amazing colors

This is my first oled monitor or tv and seeing it in my house compared to under the bright lights of a store, is truly amazing when it comes to colors. The vibrancy of the screen even having a matte finish is truly something I wished I would have experienced earlier, as even games you’ve been playing for a long time just feel different. The 240 hz and .03 milliseconds response time make everything buttery smooth. When playing games such as GTA 5, Red Dead Redemption and Elden Ring, the worlds truly come to life with how vibrant they are and the curve just makes it that much more immersive.
I used the VESA mount option to mount mine but the mount that comes with it is very robust and allows for multiple positions. You get a display port cable, hdmi 2.1 cable and a USB A to B cable. The screen cleaning feature is a nice addition and just gives you that piece of mind that you don’t have to worry about burn in. The only button is on the back at the bottom and is easy to miss if you’re not looking for it. This gives you access to all the settings such as the screen cleaning feature, changing inputs, power and more.
Unfortunately you can’t give half stars but if you could, this monitor to me is really a 4.5 out of 5 and the biggest reason is the price. If it was a maybe a couple hundred cheaper it would easily be a 5. With that said, you know you’re buying a monitor from one of the leaders in the OLED market. If you haven’t experienced an OLED monitor and are ready to take your gaming to the next level, this monitor needs to be on your short list! It has blacks that are so deep you’ll think the monitor is off when the screen is completely black and colors that are just incredible.

Since first using air frying a few years ago, it’s easily become my favorite way to cook. It gives you the all the flavor of fried foods without the oil. The Ninja Pro XL gives you the capacity to make even more food all at once. Using this along side my Ninja Foodi grill I almost don’t need an oven! The max crisp feature of the Pro XL is one of my favorite features. It gives just that extra bit of crispness to fries without having to worry about burning them.
Like the name implies you have 6 different cooking options, max crisp,air fry,roast,bake,reheat and dehydrate. The air fryer has a two position crisper tray, that’s used in the lower position for all but the roast function. The crisper tray and basket are both easy to clean by hand, but both are dishwasher safe also. Ninja owns the majority of my counter space and with the addition of the Pro XL they take up a little more! If you’re looking for your first air fryer, a replacement or like me an addition to my other counter top appliances. The Ninja Pro XL is a great addition to any kitchen from a leader in the new modern kitchen.

OEM quality @ half the price

There’s some things I have no problem buying that are made buy Apple and there’s some things I won’t pay the Apple tax on and these are one of those things. Insignia delivers again on an item that’s just as good as OEM but at half the price. I have a second generation Apple Pencil and I haven’t had to replace the tip on it yet, but unfortunately I have cats that love to chew plastic! This is the biggest reason I would need to replace the tip as I only use my Apple Pencil in my house. These tips are literally just like the one that come on the Apple Pencil. If you’re a person who uses your Apple Pencil a lot outside where you could damage your tip by dropping it on the ground, having extra tips are a no brainer. Like other Insignia products they deliver the same quality as original equipment manufacturers at less than half the cost. Sometimes it’s better to buy OEM, but sometimes it’s not and these are definitely one of those products. If you want to save money and still get the same quality, these Insignia tips are the smart choice.

Given the size of games these days and all the add on content, 2TB should be the standard hard drive size for the PS5. I mean COD Black Ops with all the extra content was 403 GB on my system, this one game alone is almost half the standard PS5 hard drive. This SSD is replacing a 1 TB SSD I installed last year to give me more space. Though at the time I should have went 2TB, I couldn’t justify the price at the time so I went the smaller route. At the time the 1 TB option took care of my issue of not having to erase games to have the space for new ones, but that quickly changed. With having both drives almost filled up, going the 2TB route was a no brainer. The Crucial SSD drive has a maximum write speed of up to 7400 MB/s, when installed in the PS5 it was showing 5600 MB/s which was the same as the drive it replaced. Though I wish the PS5 came with at least 2Gb or really 3 Gb like I have now, I’m glad it takes 5 minutes or less to install a new one. If you want to stop having to erase games to add new ones, the Crucial 2Gb SSD is a great option from a company you know can trust for a quality SSD.

Budget friendly laser printer

The Brother - HL-L2460DW is a nice budget friendly printer with duplex printing that’s great for a home office. Setup is easy and straightforward with the brother app and even someone who isn’t good with setting up tech can have it up and running quickly. Besides the duplex printing feature the other big feature for me is being able to print from an iPhone or iPad via AirPrint. Using more and more mobile devices this is a huge convenience when not on my pc. Though I’m not sure it’s needed with a printer, it is capable of using either 2.4ghz or 5ghz wireless spectrum. While using the app to setup the machine is easy, the app doesn’t have much functionality. You can use it to print, though with AirPrint you don’t need to. You can’t update the firmware for the machine with the app which is kinda surprising. When you try it directs you to Brothers website and wants you to create an account. Not the end of the world especially if you are using this with a pc, as it can easily be done from there. Overall, it’s a nice budget friendly printer with good speed and duplex printing.

I’ve had an Apple Watch since the first one and probably should have had a screen protector but never liked the look of them. The Insignia hybrid glass screen protector is the first one I’ve given a try and so far I’m happy with it. The biggest thing with others I didn’t like is the fact you could tell they were on or they were the plastic type which I hate. The curved glass with the black border makes it appear like it’s the regular screen of the Apple Watch. This is as long you’re able to get the bubbles out, it’s a bit of a challenge but can be done with some persistence. When I get a new watch I use my old one for work and with that I’ve messed up the screens on my work ones with scratches or from chemicals I use sometimes. Having recently relegated my 45mm to work duty, this will at least not destroy the glass and make it a little easier to sell it when I do. The installation process is very simple as they include a tray with alignment post to hold the Apple Watch so you align it perfectly. They also include a small squeegee to help remove the bubbles. The Insignia hybrid glass screen protector is a great option if you want that seamless look.

The Best Buy essentials wireless charger is a convenient all in one charging solution for your iPhone, AirPods and Apple Watch. The charger comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable and a USB-A to USB-C adapter. You have to supply the wall brick and the Apple Watch cable. The folding design is both convenient and space saving. Googles first attempt at their own phone (software/ hardware developed by Google) is a solid homerun, even though it has a few shortcomings!
The hardware; at least to me is absolutely beautiful and on par with any of the top cellphone manufacturers out there. The software; is so smooth and buttery, there literally is no lag! It reminds me of iOS in the early days. The screen at 5 inches is a sweet spot, though I love bigger screens, it's a nice comprise especially if you want a big screen but dont have big hands.
If you are a died in the wool Android person, this phone is an excellent choice when considering a new phone. The price could be a shortcoming for some, and the lack of headphones baffles me especially when you're competing with the big manufacturers. 32 gb may not seem like a lot of storage these days, but Google gives you unlimited photo and video cloud storage for all taken on the Pixel.
Google should be very proud of this phone and anyone should put it on their short list when searching for a phone.

I understand and know there has been Nexus devices for years that run stock android. But all reports from plenty of sources ( The Verge, Andriod Central, Droid Life and so on) have indicated that the Pixel is the FIRST phone where Google designed the hardware and software to work together like Apple does with the iPhone. Even though HTC made the hardware.

I got my first Bluetooth headphones 2 years ago with the Beats solo2 headset. As much as I liked them having the wire between the two could still be a pain at times depending on what you're doing. The new AirPods are phenomenal from the sound quality, ease of use and just the general quality. These are my new go to headphones, I love the fact I can just use one at a time if I want and the fact the case is a battery also so it charges them when you place them in the case. Worth every cent!

Until Apple fixes the issue with these disconnecting from calls while using a 6s and 6s plus avoid these. I'm on my second pair and they both would randomly disconnect while talking.

Without the monitoring the system with simply make the alarm sound from the base station or siren if you add that. To control it with the phone it requires the 24.95 a month plan.

Yes, when setting it to home only the door and window sensors will be aramed. Unless you change that in the settings to where the motion sensors are armed when choosing home mode.

I am trying to decide if I should buy a Xbox 360 or a Playstation 3? I wanted to know the differences between them
I have both and barely play the ps3. The differences between the two are, The ps3 has built in wifi, has the ability to browse the web, bluray, and online is free. 360- you have to pay for xbox live gold membership(silver membership is free) it is worth it though. The 360 has a much better controller, after a while the ps3 controller buttons start to stick. The 360 has better exclusives ( though there are some potentially good ones coming to the ps3).Xbox live marketplace is second to none, netflix tons of arcade games and just all around more fun.
