Insignia™ TV Stand: Organization and style define this TV stand, which holds your flat-panel or plasma TV and your center-channel speaker or soundbar and features 2 black glass shelves to accommodate A/V components.
First let me say the picture on the website does this stand no justice. You really need to go into the store and look at it. For one thing the glass is a lot darker than the picture depicts. It also just looks a lot better in general. I wasn't sure what stand I was going to get when I walked into bestbuy. I had it down to this, and another one. But once I saw this stand I knew it was the one.
Setting the Stand up
First let me say I've assembled a few TV stands over the years. From my parents, to friends, and my own. I normally dread the experience. I once spent three hours putting together a stand. Making new holes because the manufacturer didn't line them up correctly, and looking for my own screws because I was shorted. Let me just say this stand was a delight compared to those. Each piece of the stand was clearly marked with a letter, as were all the tools. All the tools were included with the product, and the instructions were perfectly clear.
I am 24yr old male, in good condition. Not super buff or anything, and I was able to assemble this stand on my own. It required no real strength. I will say older people, or people who suffer from arthritis should probably seek some help. Mostly for assembling the middle shelf. That was the hardest part, since if you're doing it yourself you will have to hold the weight of the middle shelf with one hand while screwing the support into place.
But otherwise anyone should feel comfortable putting this together. I didn't clock how long it took, even though I probably should of, but it was easily under an hour. The construction is sturdy. They include tools to mount the stand into the walls for those with doubts. But the most important part is that I love the way it looks. It is very open, which is important to me as I own a PS3, and anyone with a current generation console will tell you that airflow is important for their lifespan.
So I hope this has been helpful. Good luck picking a stand out.
What's great about it: Stylish, easy to set up, not a huge footprint
What's not so great: Glass shows dust, and fingerprints.

Got this game recently at my local Bestbuy after watching AC Brotherhood being played at a friends house. I have to say I just finished the game and loved it. I played the game in Italian with subtitles because the English VA did kind of get on my nerves. Plus the Italian made the game feel a lot more authentic.
The story is decent, good pacing, good dialogue, but that's not really why you should be playing this. Its just a blast running around around ancient Italy exploring the sites, and climbing buildings.
The combat is excellent. Very fluent, and enjoyable. I like how there is never one way to complete a mission. The game gives a lot of freedom in how you can take down targets, and it can be very satisfying when a plan works out.
The frame-rates in this game can be kind of choppy. I'm told they are much better on the 360 so if you own one you might be better off looking for the game on that. But overall I loved playing this on my PS3. It was worlds better than the first. I should mention this game at time of review is $30 in stores and I got it for cheaper on sale. At that price this game is excellent and well worth your time.
What's great about it: Combat, Open world, building models
What's not so great: Framerate, Englishs VAs, controls frustrating at times
But its not like there are a lot of options. If you want a remote for your PS3 this is pretty much it. The PS3 will only work with blue-tooth enabled remotes. I think Logitech makes a universal that requires an adapter to work with the PS3? I'm not 100% on that.
But basically this would be a perfect remote if it wasn't for the placement of the PS3 button. For those that don't know its the button that is used to turn the system on. Its right in the center of the remote and sticks out to a point where very little pressure will turn the console on, and since its blue-tooth it doesn't matter if its facing the system or not. It will turn on. Its been a problem for my parents who keep all their remotes in a pouch. They sometimes turn the console on without realizing it. Otherwise its works fine.

Great quality sound, destroyed by wire noise

I got these ear buds two days ago and just returned them today. I was just looking for something better than my stock Ipod Ear buds to use in my office. I read the reviews on Cnet and decided to give these a try. To start it comes with an ear wax cleaner(didn't get a chance to use it), and exchangeable bud sizes. The size already equipped fit me fine and I was instantly amazed at the comfort. You could barely feel them in your ear!
On top of that they fit snug and secure. But that was nothing compared to the noise isolation. I put these in and the world around me disappeared. Now for me in my office this is a negative. I need to be able to hear. However, if that's what you're looking for these do it well. The cord is about the same length as my stock ear buds. The wire is very thin, but I don't know if that's a problem.
So once everything check out ok it was time to hit play, and let me say wow! The sound quality was excellent. Worlds better than the Ipod stock ear buds. These ear buds will bring out sounds in your songs that you can't hear in normal buds...that was until I turned my head! The slightest movement of left to right is incredibly noticeable through the cord.
It completely ruined the experience. I work in an office, and brought the ear buds with me yesterday to give it a proper test run. I do a lot of filing and moving around and I found it extremely hard to enjoy any music when the sound of the cord swinging was so dominate. On top of that the sound isolation made it impossible to hear when anyone was trying to get my attention.
Needless to say these ear buds weren't good for me. Even without the noise from the cord I might have had to return these, but I guarantee I would have given them a much better rating. I just can't recommend these to anyone unless they plan to be completely still while listening to their music.
What's great about it: Great Sound Quality and Comfort
What's not so great: Horrible wire noise, maybe a little pricey, not sure about the durability.
