I have been a plasma person for years and been waiting for OLED fratures, quality and price to get to the right place, well with the recent price drop it is there. LG has struggled and early 2017 made sets have various banding, vignetting and such problems, but as they get quality control in line this is now a great little set. Every TV tech is not without some minor issues, with OLED it is motion and minor issues just above pure black. But the contrast and pop of an OLED in a dark room is truly amazing. This year they have increased light output and the lower blacks are also improved so I figured it was time. I have not been disappointed. Stunning and amazing with the right 4K HDR content. As lifelike as you can get. Not a fan of the remote and their WebOS is a bit confusing at times, I prefer to leave my apps in my Roku or Shield and let the TV be a monitor, but so many people like using the built in apps. I wish they just had a way to turn it into a plain old monitor. At least the menus and apps are quick, not very laggy. So glad I got this TV, hopefully I can keep saying that for months to come.

I had an old LExmark Lasr for years that was acting up and I had been meaning to get a new low cost laser. I stumbled across this unit on sale and for the price you can;t beat this. Wifi, scanning, copy and print in a tight little package. And you can do all functions via wifi as well. The included software is a little weak and the wifi setup is tedious, but then once set up you are done. Like many laser printers when it spins up it draws a lot of power so if you have an older home where many things are on the same circuit the lights will flicker. fortunately I had run some dedicated outlets to my home office a few years back and just moved this print to one of those and no more flickering lights. They really don't tell you have to secure this on wifi to prevent unauthorized printing. They really shoudl put some info on how to do that.

Needed an update to the TV in our living room. This is NOT our main TV and not used for critical viewing, more like casual viewing. We had a 2 year old 50 inch Samsung low end 1080p set that was OK, but was a tad small for the room and the credenza. We noticed this set on sale and it perked our interest. I read the reviews and compared it against a few other sets. There are not many 60 inch sets out there so that was a big plus for us. Also the price point just before XMAS the 60 inch was $300 off and the same price as the 55. For the price there really was no competition as anything reasonable for $100-$200 more and was only 55 inches. The Sony in the store looked a tad better, but for $200 more was not sure it was worth it, so we got he Samsung.
The TV is very nice, has excellent picture and after a few tweaks the colors look very good. The real attraction to me as that this LED is back lit vs. edge lit which give you better screen uniformity for very bright scenes where there is a lot of white. On the down side the panel they use is not an IPS panel and thus the off center viewing take s hit qucikly. Contrast starts to fade and colors get a tad washed out when you get too far off center. The Sony is rated better for off center, so keep that in mind as to where everyone will be sitting. I am not a fan of the new remote with very few buttons, but then we will use our Directv remote most of the time. 4K content looks great and even 1080p has rich color depth. I have read that Samsung is not putting ads into their built in ads to target users, well that is sad, but then I rarely use the built in apps as I will take my Roku any day of the week. Got a new Roku Ultra so the Roku 4 moved to this TV and they area great combination. If you get this TV at a good price it is a great TV, if it is priced equal to say the Sony X850D then the choice becomes harder and I might go with the Sony. Thsi TV is a great step up form our 2 year old Samsung 50 inch that cost $550 2 years agao so to think for $150 more I now get a 60 inch 4K I can't complain.

I have owned a few iPads over the years and currently had the original Air. It was feeling sluggish so when BB ran a great sale of $125 off I jumped on upgrading both mine and my wife's. As usual every generation is evolutionary and this one is no different. I get Apple's desire to keep devices thin and light, but this gen the battery life takes a step back compared to my iPad Air. I find this eats battery a bit faster than the original Air. Sure this has more procupower and better optimized, but will an extra mm thickness hurt to increase the battery life? I always have a love hate relationship with a Apple and this is no different. Seems the Android competition has not kept up so Apple is the clear winner.

Was looking for a TV for my home office that will get light use. No cable outlet or OTA so wanted a Roku TV to minimize the remotes. Look for $249 you really can't complain. It has a reasonable decent picture. I love Roku and having it built in is like saving $50. This TV is not going to impress videophiles as it has a somewhat washed out contrast, but colors are not bad and the brightness is acceptable. The power on time is SLOW! I guess the Roku portion initializes with ever power on so be prepared to wait. The Menu is a bit laggy, but once you are viewing something it is great. The back-light dimming is obvious depending on how much black the background has, but again for the price point it is fine. This TV was my second choice as the branch I wanted do not come in a 39-40 only a 43, and this was already pushing the size of what would look reasonable on the wall. And as I said for the price this is perfect, you will get what you pay for, but it will work fine. Great for a kids room or anyplace non-critical viewing will occur.
No matter where you are, bedroom to backyard, you’ll experience a stronger, faster connection with this tri-band NETGEAR router. Get rid of lag, freezing, and buffering while you game, stream and more on multiple devices.

I had a few routers that were all a few years old. With all the wifi devices I have now, iPads, phones, laptops, FireTV, myQ garage doors, alarm system and on and on the mesh of different routers was a mess. None could handle the throughput needed, most were connected to old 2.4 b/g and my only old Netgear 5GHz was only n so it was time for an upgrade. I wanted a triband router and actually ordered a Asus AC3200 at a great Black Friday deal of $197 at a competitor, but then stumbled across this new Netgear AC5300 X8 Nighthawk and saw rave reviews and at a Black Friday prices of $299 on Prime I could not resist. Got it setup and tweaked and this thing screams. Hopefully it will be as reliable as my old Netgear router and the interface is the same so I love their advanced settings. All the devices are getting excellent signal and throughput. It is a bit iffy at the far end of the house 2 floors up, but I picked up a TP-Link C7 as an access point for the single device up there. This thing is huge, but my guess is they needed the size to avoid fans for cooling and all the components needed to support 3 bands, 6 Ethernet ports, 4 external and 4 internal antennas. Looks like the Asus will go back as soon as it arrives.
1/16/2016 Update So after 2 months of ownership I wanted to update my review. This is still an awesome router. It does have a few quirks. First the UI gets sluggish which should not be the case with all the processing power this beast has. Also the UI does not always show correct status of the LAN ports as they are up, but the UI shows them down. Also anytime you make adjustments to the overall QOS settings (not devices) the router basically reboots, very annoying. And the most annoying bug is I have several Roku devices hardwired and if you videos on the CNET channel on Roku the router reboots, basically rendering the CNET Roku app useless.
2/3/2016 Update. Well I am dropping this to 1 star. Netgear has been unable to resolve the issue and is incapable of understanding the issue. This has become a $300 boat anchor and I will be exploring options for another brand. Too bad I have been a long time Netgear owner of various products.

I wanted to rate this a 4.5 as it has a few minor concerns, it is a very good microwave. This is my first over range microwave after a kitchen remodel and we wanted a convection microwave so we did not have to get a toaster oven. The knob is a little off putting at first and the fact that you can only cook in 15 second increments, but once you get used to it the microwave is really nice. The microwave portion is powerful and good. I am still getting used to convection, but seems to be a little on the weak side. The bottom vent/fan is very loud and does not do a good job of drawing up steam or smoke. Also the light for lightning the below cook top is halogen, very energy inefficient and wish it were LED especially since it has a night light feature. It is very stylish and matches our GE induction range and feels buit, very solid. Does not warrant 5 stars, but is better than 4 stars.
This GE Profile Series PHS920SFSS slide-in electric range's electronic glass-touch controls make it easy to select settings. True European convection technology with Precise Air and induction cooktop technology allows fast, even cooking.

Was remodeling and needed a new range. Wanted the power of gas, but the clean look of electric. Learned about induction and figured we would try it out. Was a bit disappointed that the low profile look commands such a premium in price, but why hide our new back splash to,save some money. Of course when you look at induction you need to understand what you are signing up for. You need cookware that is designed for induction, iron, steel, etc. the plus is induction cooks by using magnetism to heat up the cookware and does so very quickly. This range works great and while expensive works great.

We were attracted to Bosch because of their good reviews and quiet machines. I was a bit reluctant because I felt I could find a decent machine for less, but we decided to treat ourself. The machine is super quiet and has a red LED that shines on the floor to let you know it is running. It does a good job of cleaning and has very useful space for dishes and can be packed with a lot. Now to some minor announces; first it takes a long time to run through the cycle. Next even with heated drying it still leaves a little water on the upper spray arm so that when you pull out the upper tray water drips on the freshly dried dishes. Next the machine needs to be turned off after the cycle completes, rather stupid, it is done, it knows it is done, why make me turn it off. And finally while it is an efficient machine there is no option to air dry the dishes. My old machine was old and noisey, but the cycle was shorter and allowed me to air dry, thus likely using less energy.

TV for the money has a nice picture. Also since it is not ultra slim it has decent sound from the internal speakers. The processor is so slow using the apps is useless, I defer to my Roku 3 for any apps. The only pain is almost once a day the TV will do a fast restart. Not sure what it is, have not had time to call Samsung yet.

Thanks for you suggestions, but the issues have nothing to do with wifi, all the failures happen on wired devices with no other traffic going on. I send debug logs to Netgear. No router from any maker should ever reboot regardless of the traffic I now have it failing on other video services. I have not set QOS back to defaults, but the failing devices are all Roku and media streaming devices that are all in highest QOS class. When it fails it is always as a video stream starts up. I suspect they are not handling certain traffic correctly and the router gets confused and reboots. I have had numerous routers over the years, including several Netgear routers and never have any issues until this junk.

Printer is great, but the included utilities for the scanning function are really old school probably 10+ years old design. Also when you try to manually scan by lifting the cover to get odd sized documents they do not do a good job of providing you guide marking to know where the scanner will real pickup the image, so if you put the document up along the front left corner you will cut off some of the scan. Great piece of hardware with weak software and menus.

How does the included remote interface with OTA channels?
Tee included remote will work with the OTA tuner in the TV. It is a standard Roku style remote so don't expect to enter direct channel numbers.
