MacBook Pro features Intel's latest quad core processor, the core i5 processor, for a boost in processor and memory speeds. New next-generation graphics deliver performance levels that are up to 60 percent faster than before. And high-speed Thunderbolt I/O lets you transfer data at rates up to 10 GBps. The MacBook Pro is a great computer that just got even greater.

I picked up this MacBook Pro during the tax-free weekend sale although I had been looking at it for awhile. This is my first Mac and I was a little nervous about switching from Windows based PC's. There is definitely a bit of a learning curve and it does take a little getting used to but it's not so difficult. So far I'm loving it. It fits needs so I don't feel like I missed out on choosing this one over the Retina version or the MacBook Air. The hard drive space is definitely worth it for me. My music library in ITunes is well over 100GB on it's own...so the smaller sized hard drives wouldn't have met my needs at all. The price was pretty good compared to the more expensive Retina and Air versions. I'm sure I could easily get a PC for less with some pretty great specs but my desire to try a machine that has rave reviews for lasting longer and being less maintenance was worth the extra dollars for me. I also love the easy compatibility to my iPad mini, iPhone, and my sons iPods.
This 14.1-megapixel digital camera features optical image stabilization, face detection technology and motion detection technology to ensure images are clear and detailed. Smart Shutter technology automatically snaps a picture when the subject smiles or winks.
I purchased this camera as an upgrade to my FujiFilm digital camera and instantly loved it. I have yet to play with all of the features (and most likely will never touch some of them since general point and shoot users are just that....point and shoot!). The HD video is truley amazing from such a small camera. I recorded video at a Falcons game recently and it shows much better than I expected since I was not close to the focus point (I was on the opposite end of the field in relation to the focal point)t. The pictures I took of the field at the game came out a little better than I expected considering that this camera only has a 4x optical zoom and digital zoom, but if that were a more important feature for me I would have chosen a camera with a higher optical zoom. This camera will mostly be used for taking photos at family gatherings or social events where the subjects are in close proximity. For that purpose this camera has met and exceeded my needs by providing beautiful and clear pictures with vivid color and clarity. Of course, this is acheived with the right settings AND a reasonably steady hand (even with the image stabilizer...this is true with most cameras!)
What's great about it: Beautiful pictures, HD video, ease of use
What's not so great: Small buttons, surface makes it feel easy to drop
I would recommend this to a friend!

Saw this movie in theaters and went today to purchase. I chose this format because it is a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack (for some reason this is not mentioned on here). As mentioned, it is a movie that both a sports fan and a fan of "chick flicks" will enjoy.
This series was a great show that delved into the lives of a Latino family in East L.A. Yes, the family was known as a boxing family due to their rich history in the sport, but the story lines focus on so much more. This family is easy to relate to regardless of their ethinicity. It shows a positive family support system without coming off as cheesy. The only "not so great" thing I can think of in regards to this Season 1 product is the fact that it is the only season that was ever released on DVD. As great as it was it does not show the full depth of this series which is a shame.
I have used these CD's numerous times over the years and have never had any problems. I always buy them when they are on sale so that I can get the savings along with the quality. I think those that have had trouble may have had problems associated with their burners and not the discs.
What's great about it: Great sale price compared to others
The current single with India.Arie, "Words", is perhaps my favorite song. Although the majority (if not all) of the tracks were on previous releases of his (Red Clay Chronicles and 3 Chords & the Truth), this album has a major label backing. Long time fans already know the talent this man has so hopefully this will alert the rest of the music loving world! His lyrics are simple and direct, yet the soul and depth are what capture the attention and holds it. I'm partial to "GA Peach" because it's about all of us lovely home grown ladies lol. If you love true talent and honesty then you will enjoy this album.
What's great about it: Great music, pure talent.
What's not so great: Tracks appear on previous release
I think the risk existed more in the past (especially on LCD monitors), but I think that it's pretty rare. Plasma's were more prone to it, but I think they are better now. They still run a risk but it's not as easy as it once was.
