I started off with the Beats Solo HD by Dre since were slightly cheaper but there was no floor model to test them out. I knew I liked these Sony's but figured i'd try the Beats. They were ok, not bad but not great. Definitely didn't compare to the floor model of these Sony's I had tested. But the floor model only had certain song snippets and were hooked up with the cable which disabled the bass boost.
I got these home, charged them, didn't take much time since hard partial charge. Played my music and wow, still sounded awesome like the floor model. There is a lot of bass even with out the bass boost, but when the bass boost is on, wow! I noticed no distortion but also don't have them cranked up all the way. The music control works on my Samsung Note 3 perfectly. NFC connect is really fast, faster than the normal bluetooth connection method. Cushions around the ear are super soft too!

How do you recharge the battery? One of the reviews stated that it did not come with a charger.
It comes with a USB to Micro USB charger cable. You have to hook the cable up to a USB port and the micro side to the headset for it to charge. Full charge from full depletion takes around 4 hours.
