Be careful international warranties! Make sure they cover the countries you'd be traveling in and depending on who's selling them, they are sometimes gray market cameras/warranties. I'm in the USA and don't travel out of the country much, so I've always stayed with US warranties. Depends on your needs. Most warranties require you to mail the camera to them anyway. With Best Buy you can get there warranty and go into any store, anywhere (I believe, I'd ask) and they will help you with the camera or replace it.
