I bought a pair of these RIG 505's from the store. The headphones were great - lightweight, breathe well, comfortable. But the microphone did not work. I had to move the headset off of my ears and put the tip of the microphone between my lips before it would pick anything up. Otherwise, it would only pickup shouting. Maybe the noise-cancelling filters out too much noise, even speech?
So I thought the microphone was defective. I returned a first headset to the store and hoped that the second headset would work. Unfortunately, the second microphone is the same! I am left thinking that this microphone is designed very poorly - or manufactured very poorly so I got two bad microphones in a row. I plan to return these and look for a different headset ...
I normally do not leave reviews, but I felt the need to warn others to avoid this runaround.
