iPad® Air is 20 percent thinner1 and weighs just one pound, so it feels unbelievably light in your hand. It comes with a 9.7-inch Retina display, the A7 chip with M7 motion coprocessor, ultrafast wireless, powerful apps, and up to 10 hours of battery life.2 And over 475,000 apps in the App Store are just a tap away.3

I use my iPad Air 128gb for both personal and business. It runs all the newer apps my iPad 2 would crash on.

Overall worth the upgrade from an iPad 2. Screen quality is noticeably better with the retina display. But the big difference is in processing speed. I chose the Wi-Fi only model and use a personal hot spot in my iPhone if I can't get a Wi-Fi connection - seems to work well.

When I sold my DX camera to move in to a full frame DSLR, I lost the use of my favorite lens - the Nikon 18-200 DX wide to tele zoom. With my new 28-300 FX lens I've found a new traveling buddy. While not quite and fast to focus as the 24-70 or 70-200 Nikon lenses, it makes a perfect grab and go lens for those days where you just never know what lens you'll need. I've missed several great shots hiking because I had the wrong lens on my D800. No more with this FX all around work horse.

Nikon's Best yet, image quality is unsurpassed

I am a serious amateur who upgraded from a Nikon D300 to this beauty 3 days prior to leaving for Glacier National Park. After a week and 1200 images, I can honestly say my new D800e has exceeded my expectations. I shot mostly landscapes with a 24-70 2.8 Nikon lens. A few times when I saw wildlife, There was no time to switch to my telephoto so I just made the shot anyway. I was completely taken by surprise to see how clear a heavily cropped and blown-up image was! Folks, there's a reason the files are huge...there is a TON of resolution at 36mp! Be prepared to increase your memory card and photo storage drive sizes to handle the D800e, but in my view it is very much worth it.
What's great about it: Stunning images
What's not so great: Nothing, love the camera
I would recommend this to a friend!
