....they are not. Save a little extra money and buy new because, these Refurbs are f-----g garbage. On my second set and while I did work for over an hour with TB tech support trying to update firmware on my PC, we got absolutely nowhere. The Tech convinced me that this was a on in a million error and that he had never experienced before. Well, he must have been hibernating in a cave because guess what happened with my second pair??? The same exact problem which led to the same NON solution.
AVOID!!!!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

XBONE but, stay away from any TB refurbs, they're absolute shiite
